It will always depend on the human being how can he/she handle cryptos, If you use crypto on scamming and fooling people. Then Yes that very dangerous to do. But if you only want to earn extra income from BTC for doing a good effort non-illegal, Then you don't have to worry about. From my experience, I earned bitcoin from dust and nothing it will always depend on your strategy and self-discipline.

Why are you blaming crypto on failing on your exams? I think that it is your own fault, if you just know how to mage your time you will be successful in your exams. Even usual food could be dangerous because of potential choking, food poisoning, etc.
I believe before getting into crypto people must learn the basics of security. Of course, we can also learn it after we start trading crypto, but it might prove to be too expensive in the end...

Crypto is not dangerous, mate, but we are. Crypto is a bet, knowledge, volatile, a matter of luck ... but as long as you invest wisely and only what you can afford to lose, crypto will match your expectations sooner or later.
