It seems no one is taking us seriously because of the huge number of coins. Can we get a hard fork to reduce the max coins to something reasonable like 100B, and adjust the halving time as well?

How the hell do you plan on reducing the amount of coins already minted? Possible technically but.....

Also, we need a clear outline of bounty programs, a twitter, IRC, etc.

No clue about actual technical details, but it's completely possible to do and that would help the coin a lot (people wouldn't be afraid to buy a coin with one trillion coins in total limit). Not to mention the price rise - let's not fool ourselves, most people in this thread are EMO holders from the times when you could mine hundreds of millions of EMO per day.

Yeah , it's technically or theoretically possible with a hardfork , which in BTC will never happen.
Secondary on my view , as i'm not an early adopter , my view is biased  on this

I like idea of capping to 100B - that make sense. Hard fork shouldn't be a problem as the biggest emo pool has enough power, however we should contact with other pools to make this process painless.
As son you guys agree how to proceed with works I can offer 1M Emo from my pocket as partial covering your efforts and time.
