Main reason behind crypto currencies red market in 2018

I think the worst reason is the SEC and also there some reasons. But I hope all the reasons will be optional in a few months and the total market cap will go their own way.

Some of the negative news which came some 4-5 months back from the big countries lead to the drastic fall and then we also have those panic sellers who destroyed the market more badly and still we are suffering due to which the price has not moved above 10k anytime in this year.

There will be many investors who join the crypto currency if the positive issue regarding bitcoin and blockchain technology is growing. News like Japan plans to pay employee salaries with bitcoin is one of the positive issues that I believe will have an influence on the increase in bitcoin prices.

If you thought that it will recover, some retracement follows. Bad ICO is also a contributory factors, which so many scams going, investors are reluctant to pour their cash again. And noobs who got burned, doesn't want to go back in fear of losing more money.

Salary in bitcoin was once accepted and people were ready to accept the btc in the time of 2015  and after that as well but since 2017 I really do not know what happened people why they were not looking to recommend and get the salary in cryptocurrencies.
Then Market is red due to the investment factor is missing from all the time. When this last bump starts there were more than 20 billions growth in the market next to that we are seeing around 25k BTC sold by one person alone today. Really making every one pain.

Yes, it's hard for people who just keep for trading. I think in cryptocurrency market you should to follow the development of your assets while trading, because positive/negative news is very affect in cryptocurrency market. So, you can decide to sell or buy more assets. IMO

The recent market decline was caused by the ICO project cashout, and because investors are afraid of fraud, they choose to give up investing in ICO, and the price of ETH will also decrease.

I am still confident that the drop in bitcoin price that we see during 2018 is justified to a large extent by the fact that people who have no idea about the cryptocurrency purchased a huge amount of bitcoins in November 2017-January 2018 and are still getting rid of them.

The truth is that throughout last year, most people that joined crypto did so not because they understand what the future of this market holds, but because they want to get rich overnight and that fueled some seriously huge FOMO into the market and therefore is what is affecting the market presently.

You still get to see people at this stage, asking if they should be selling out of panic that the market could go lower, and I am pretty sure, there would be some who would just even panic sell without asking which all accounts to what is going on. There is no serious demand in terms of usage, and people are just getting greedy.

Negative news only fueled the inevitable drop in price anyway, it is not like it would not have happened even right from the onset. I remember sometimes last year towards the end, when some of us were warning people about an imminent fall in price while some newbies were busy joining FOMO, a lot of people discarded that.

Pumps that is not driven by real demand is usually manipulated and people who are fond of being a part of FOMO are normally the targets of whales and what we are seeing now is the final result.

I believe this market will not stop here. And the opportunity for investors is still very much.
The market will grow strongly by the end of this year and beginning of 2019.

Most times, the problem with quick peaks is that they are not sustainable. There is actually nothing as good as a steady growth and a growth that is fueled by real demand and not just some speculation or some greedy FOMOs wanting to get rich fast so they can have their dream achieved of purchasing Lambo, buying big house etcetera and then the same dudes who pumped the market to instigate huge market movement upward dumped on them. Also, most of the time anyway, there is nothing that ends up going up that will not eventually end up coming down at some point which is the level we are presently now.

ETH is now under 200$, it can not foreseen how market will be if its gone under 100$. May be everything will be collapsed.

Yeah, Investors are spending their money on ICOs and new projets but this doesn't explain the bitcoin's price fall since all the market is falling.

I think the main reason is that people do not trust bitcoin anymore and want to get out with minimum loss.
