Hi everyone. Over at Venusian Arts we've taken notice of your new "Bitcoin" currency.

The $30 price point, reached earlier this year, was a little bit concerning to us, but now it seems to have leveled out, so I went ahead and added "Buy Now with Bitcoin" links to our sales pages for our ebook and our dvd set. (Hopefully the wild swings in BTC price are done, since our interest is in using it as a currency, not as an investment vehicle.)

Meh, the mystery method is so-so.  Too mechanical.  By the time you end up getting your own jive, you've moved onto other techniques. But otherwise it has good lessons to be aware of (primarly the stages and substages)

It may -appear- that way, but most of the people who get into things like this have either genuine social anxiety issues, or things that prevent them from normally socially interacting (Aspurgers).  For myself, I went from not even being able to look women in the eye, to being married with a kid. In between was a LOT of fun and learning.  There is also a 'code of honor' (or at least there was when I was still in it) which is summed up in 'Leave em better than when you found em'.  These types of systems (and really any kind of social manipulation) can be used for good OR evil.

I love the "moral stance" detractors.  Who gives a frak what bitcoin is used for.  Trade is trade.  Dollars used for every single day for everything from drugs to stiffling the democratic process, to child labor, to human slavery.

It is the job of the government to determine what is legal and the job of law enforcement to ensure those laws are violated.  Neither is the responsibility of a currency.

It's not about their intelligence, it's about preselection.  Ever walk into a house where a woman lives vs where only a man lives?  It has that 'womans touch'.  Paintings on the wall, folded decorative towels in the washroom, etc.  If you're wearing a crazy outfit (that flows, mind you), with confidence (of course), you're massively more likely to get, maintain, and control attention than wearing just some jeans and a t-shirt.

I mean, I get that it's foreign (it was foreign to me as well when I first got into that scene), but the stuff works.

I'm happilly married with a kid now, probably wouldn't have been as well off as I am w/o learning some social confidence that those things taught me.  To each their own, I guess.

Edit: Think about it - if you're bad at math, you get a tutor.  It's the same thing, but with talking to the opposite sex. 'Social skills' aren't really taught in most societies, and it's hard to learn on your own if you don't already have them (high functioning autistics, for example).  For some people, that just freaks them out, I was one of them, I would guess people hangin out on a 'cryptocurrency' forum may fall into the same category.  So if you need a tutor, sign up.
