If you ask me, I would still invest in ICOs nowadays even if the prices are higher after market release. Before I invest in ICOs, I usually double check the whitepaper before I invest because it's written there what are their plans in the future of the token. It gives me a certain peace of mind knowing they can market the token.

I hope that there will be time to invest ICOs, but today it is very risky. I invested a lot in one project and team stollen all the money they managed to get.

But, do the research, see who's behind the project, if there's a need for a service like that and do they have competitors who already have a working product etc etc. There are not many good solid ICO's, but there are some for sure which are going on right now or are going to be live in coming months. I think that the road of live for ICO is still there! But this will be relevant only for high-quality promising projects! Scams will be much less, because there will be a more careful selection.
