I think that here the parent does not have to take a high percentage of the earnings from the partners. Unlike child, hosting will not have to go into marketing much, so it is expected that they will give up that part of the profit.

more mixed coins would normally mean higher mixing obfuscation but within the mixtum model, is this possible?

I saw that Jambler even offers part of the profit to "investors" who bring clear Bitcoin (from exchanges for example). An interesting method, but it would be good to see how it looks in practice.


I see the problem of child mixers here because they all look and function very similar, almost the same. Well, that can lead the user to think that it is a clone or a scam.

Second of all, I believe that icopress tried to be cautious with the news you presented, making sure that MixTum will not miss it. Maybe they don't watch this thread everyday and there are chance to miss your post, in case plenty of other posts would be written meanwhile. there are 20 cards in total (serials and their addresses can be found in the list below), each funded with 0.001BTC by [banned mixer]. i would suggest [banned mixer] to send the 0.001BTC to the cards only after they have reached the user by mail. this way you can avoid that the valuable satoshis are gone (in case the cards disappear by mail).

Obviously, after seeing how well these cards look like, many users want to have one of them, but only 20 will be the lucky owners of these cards. I wish good luck to all raffle participants (including to me ). Seriously, the card look very, very good.

I also think it's a very good idea to ship the cards unloaded and load them only after the user confirms he received the package.

My Experience
So, I fired up TOR and pasted this link: http://[banned mixer]/

I was presented with the following page:



I chose to mix my coins (not the free option).

I was presented with this page:



I added my desired receiving address and I did not enter a secondary address.

There was minimum limit to the amount of sats I was allowed to send. It was 300k sats. I sent a little more than the lowest amount.

I received 2 UTXOs at random time intervals (one in the first hour and one after 4 hours). The amounts were also random. However, having added one address only, I got both UTXOs to the same address.

My Thoughts

• I wanted the system to allow me to add more addresses and choose the amount of UTXOs to receive. I should be able to receive all UTXOs in separate addresses for privacy reasons.
• The fact that the time intervals and the amounts are random is very good.
• The whole process was super easy. I was surprised by the convenience and ease of use.
• The total time of return is up to 6 hours. Perhaps it could be also decided by the user. The website could provide some options (i.e. 3hrs, 6hrs, 9hrs etc) and the user could choose from these.

And about, since I have a solid record of always picking the wrong numbers, estimators, everything, close to becoming a legend in the mining speculation board on my misses,  so I know my chances of winning the raffle are below zero  is there any chance of making a batch for purchase?

A simple batch, no need for it to be funded so it doesn't imply any financial constraint on mixtum, and make it something like a pre-order?
If you find 10, 20 30 how much is required for guys willing to pay and put down the money you make if not, that's it,next?
Just a thought as I guess nobody will lose a thing and everyone gets something, Mixtum in advertising, you in making something to be remembered  , and us getting some sort of not that limited but still limited shiny card.

Notes:

- Copying the deposit address doesn't work in Tor (it copies "undefined" string).
- You should clarify the free mixing it actually free, because I hit "Try now for free" and it showed a fee calculator which somewhat contradicts.

Checked the anonymity set of my coin from my blockchain explorer, and it seems pretty high. Pretty neat mixer.

Although there is quite a large mempool backlog even for a normal fee, but at least the session is valid for 6 days.

Edit: The mix was successful. However, the page that tells you to deposit never says the deposit has been confirmed. It is stuck at "awaiting confirmation...", but it's strictly a frontend issue.

You're in luck, it's Saturday and the mempool is clearing again 1.8 sat/b as I type, just got one consolidation confirmed two blocks away.

Of course, I don't really think one should give that away since we're doing this for privacy reasons but I think I'm not the only one using Mixtum to really get the dirt off!

Blockchair give my mix a privacy score of a grand total of 0. But they said they were only able correlate all of the other addresses in my transaction. So they might figure out that it is a Mixtum mix, but they will not know who received the mix. As long as you don't send them to KYC'ed locations of course!
