How does the random time delay works? I've tried different devices, browsers, IPs and I'm always getting 6 hours. Just a few quick suggestions: - Lower your fees. Seriously. There are at least 6 other mixers with a better well-design website, a better reputation, more features and better fees than yours. 5% is a steal. - Let the user choose his delay time. Sometimes he may be in a hurry and don't want to wait 6~8 hours. - Let the user add more than one output and choose a delay and percentage of the mixed coins for each address. More options and customization should be a must for every mixer. - Add a mixing ID or something like this so the user can track his mixing order. It should be also available on the Letter of Guarantee. Btw, you say that you can mix amounts as big as 50BTC per request, so why are you so afraid of giving 0.001BTC to a couple of users? It's not about being an "eternal generator of BTC", but there were a few mixers giving 0.01BTC per review to ~20 users, while you're looking to give 0.0013BTC per review to only 5 users. By making the test operation as a suplementary option on the site, a test process is probably different from main process (tester use the free trial that doesn't know if it's running in the same way as paid session) ; so there is no solid reason to ask feedbacks from testers using the free trial*. If by admiting it's the same process for both free and paid processes, here my notes: - Site is very easy to use in a standard way. Just didn't like the design (fully black and white) so you may think about adding some colors to not make the use of your service looks bored than effecient, as should make it harder to create a simple copy of your site (avoid scammers/thiefs) . - Signing the letter of guarantee with a PGP signature is the most effecient way to assume obligation towards your clients, and extreme security as well. However, based on the feedback we received from several users here and our recent market research findings, we made a decision to incorporate this in the light mixing mode. This option will feature a lower quality of cleansing and level of anonymity compared to the original one, but offer much shorter time frames. However, if you initiate mixing on one of these, you will be given an input address that belongs to the scammers, and we will never receive your coins. You will be given a normal-looking Letter of Guarantee, except it won't pass verification, because the BTC address in it has been replaced. These clones are likely operated by the same people, and so far we know about two of them, but there may be more. In comparison, during the second year things have stabilized, and the focus has been more on polishing the existing functionality, squashing bugs on the website and perfecting our practices for processing incoming orders, support requests and other inquiries. The service has continued to gain recognition, and the volume of coins being processed has grown significantly. From the start, what matters, it all went well, I trusted the thing about the clean coins so I did risk one of my exchange accounts that's fully KYC and it's been way more than 72 hours so I guess the coins are indeed clean. Now the small details that I encountered: The free mixing: - the mixer offers a 1mbtc free mix to test it, I didn't choose that option since I thought everyone that was doing that, but I did browse a bit so I realized that even if you choose the free mixing the calculator at the bottom will still show you a fee and the sums as 0.00025.Don't know if it's a turn-off for a newbie trying to test it, as obviously it will still pay the fee if he ever does bigger sums but I guess it was worth mentioning, the team probably knows better the data behind usage. The guarantee letter - Since the WW fiasco I have looked more at these letters of guarantee which in CM times I didn't even bother, so lesson learned. WW had those before and after the cash out, with it being issued for the mixing address before a coin even leaves your pocket might grant a bit more ease of mind to the ones doing the mix. No matter what technical issues arise with the website the letter is there the addresses are there, so less hassle and more traditional simple mixing feels better right now. The process itself: - the letter said it's valid for 168 hours BUT! I wasn't going to be that guy and test what happens if I send a fee that will not confirmed in that time, probably anything under 5sat/B won't make it in a week but I'm still curious, what happens if someone does so? The FAQ says: Quote They remain valid for 7 days. This period is sufficient to address any network issues, delays, and human errors that may occur, thus guaranteeing safety of customer's assets. But I'm pretty sure since Mixtum is that old it never encountered a period of months (4 counting now) when small fee tx are not getting confirmed.So, are funds received after the expired time returned? Probably a confirmation would bring a bit of relief to people who are by nature more suspicious and worried about everything. I think Mixtum is a bit different in what offers, rather than breaking the chain it offers you clean coins, so if you're not just wanting to hide where coins came from but have no fear of sending those to services it's worth paying the price, the fee might be steep for some but if indeed it delivers, then the end result might give more peace of mind which worth a lot. Once I'm back home I will try the precise payment method, I just went over it, and here is a suggestion, maybe remove the calculator from that page, It makes no sense having it since the amounts are already fixed and it uses a different percentage fee. First, your website is very nice and clean (very important for a mixer) ^^ and overally I like your design very much. It's clear and straight forward. Most information is available on your website, people can read all important information and discover it easily. But one important point: before entering our address, where outgoing funds should be sent to, it would be nice to display your minimum / maximum deposit amounts. Because it happenend to me, when I wanted to mix a small amount first, I needed to cancel my attempt because my amount has been lower than allowed. If displayed first, how much min. amount is needed, we could see it directly before starting to enter any data. Mixing process is easy but maybe when coins are send you can add a few lines what to do next / how to proceed. It might clear some remaining questions. Mixing itself went without problems in MixTum's specified time frame and arrived in my wallet. I'm just wondering because I received 2 transactions and transaction fees of these 2 transactions have been exactly the same. Is it normal or wouldn't it be better to have different tansactions fee amounts? Maybe I'm not aware and missing how it's better like it is (most likely MixTum has a reason to handle it like that). Just curious. :) Fees are between 4-5% + 0.0007 BTC but especially a fixed BTC amount (+ 0.0007 BTC) hurts for low amounts making it around 10-15% fee to mix around 200 USD of Bitcoin, where I woud say it's quite high, but we also know MixTum applies a new innovative mixing strategy and while Blockchain analysis companies are improving constantly, paying a bit more and receiving a good service is better than paying low fees, where even a script kiddie can code a program to connect incoming and outgoing transaction. What I would like is an independant coder (or many) doing an investigation, if your mixing strategy is really that realiable and input + output can't be connected, like here from madu (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5117328.0). But from all mixers out there currently, I believe MixTum is far ahead of mixing practices. After all, I believe its a good deal because MixTum can become a very innovative and also trusted mixer. There was minimum limit to the amount of sats I was allowed to send. It was 300k sats. I sent a little more than the lowest amount. I received 2 UTXOs at random time intervals (one in the first hour and one after 4 hours). The amounts were also random. However, having added one address only, I got both UTXOs to the same address. Tor version of the website works fine though. Do I understand correctly, that I can mix coins even via Telegram bot? GazetaBitcoin, you can try to clear your browser cache, use incognito mode, or use another browser. If that doesn't help, then you can try to access the site through another ISP. Maybe Cloudflare is blocking your IP or perceives your connection as insecure for some reason. O0) If that doesn't help, then you can try to access the site through another ISP. This is weird... That is why I wonder, if it is possible to use the mixer without visiting the site, but only via Telegram bot.
