I am not a very skilled bounty hunter, but I can still share some knowledge of the choice of bounty missions!
1.Bounty manager
2. Team strength
3. Number of project followers

Do some research about the project. There are some websites which rate ICOs such as ICObench. If the ICO has a good score there, the bounty might be successful too.

I usually draw attention to who the campaign manager is, how active the team is in social networks and the absence/presence of bots in campaign's Tweeter and Telegram.
But even this doesn't guarantee that you have chosen the right campaign that will achieve its goal.

You can't, you can't know if it is scam or not before bounty campaign ends, if team is not reliable don't join in the campaign. Also if ico raises nothing you get a token worth nothing...

• Check all you can find in their Bounty Thread
• TEAM's background info
• ICO's Aim or Goal
• Read Whitepaper
• Do research on their ICO
• Research first if their project will be useful or not
• Active Bounty Manager.
• Join bounties that's been manage by successful bounty manager from previous managed ICOs
Example Team is Amazix that has managed lots of successful bounty campaigns.

Or you can check the threads provided by:

Before join any bounty campaign, do some research about that project. see their social media activity, and check bounty managers reputation.

For ETH/BTC paid bounty campaigns always look if the funds for that campaign is escrowed by a trusted user here in the forum. Also it is another plus if the campaign is being managed by a trusted campaign manager as they themselves also do some background research before they are able to take the job. For campaigns that is being paid by their tokens just remember to protect your private keys and try to do background research for yourself, you might be surprise in the results if you tried searching their token name, you might find it helpful.

Generally I will do some research before I join a bounty campaign. I will at least go to their website, to see the team, roadmap and project vision. If I really like the project and think it is promising, then I will join. I usually like the ones with a decent website.

Trust is main key that bounty campaigns is good or not for their member.
And to be trusted the most important things is communication, so you can do research about:
-The community, have a good and active community.
-The dev team, have good reputation and capable to do this project. And the dev must be active to their community.
-The website, clear information, profesional and promising.
If you feel good you can try to join their bounty campaigns.

...
This is rare or frequent for you to not receive anything after bounty campaign?
Thanks for informations
Dont worry if you have done some research about the good bounty, most of them will give the bounty reward.
Just make sure you already do all the requirement rules about the bounty that created by the dev or bounty manager.
But the often is the result obtained from the bounty turns out to be a little when sold in the market. So we often feel what we get is less than what we have done.
