This looks like a great form factor for home mining!

Do I understand correctly that the PCB houses 3x9 chips underneath that big heatsink?
I wonder how you lay out 27 chips in a square space...

Did you do the ASIC design in-house?

Any plans to branch out to other PoWs in future?
Several other memory oriented PoW have daily issuance comparable to scrypt,
like Equihash and Cuckoo Cycle.

Yes its 27 ASICs in a 3x9 Parallel block/serial configuration. It wasn't easy that's for sure.

We are exploring whether we want to concentrate on scrypt or branch out to more algos so don't have anything to announce now.

Got my Apollo today, however I keep getting connection issues. Not sure what to check. It was up and working for a minute or two in the beginning now I can't seem to get the connection to work. I can get to the IP address but it keeps saying that the miner isn't connecting.

You have to search for your wallet - go to wallet in the menubar, you then get a neat customised page with yours stats and the party stats.

I have a question though, a couple of you guys are mining with c=LTC,m=party.Apollo,d=50000

I get d=50000 is the difficulty setting - but what is the benefit? Should we all do it?

Edit welcome pancakehero Smiley

I just do it so it doesn't spend time auto adjusting.  Not sure if its really worth it but I figured what the hey, i like playing with options.

I'm new to this stuff so bare with me for a second, i want to understand what i'm actually doing this might sound so nood but everyone has to learn !

oh yes forget my block comment earlier it scans and mines most profitable to convert to litecoin if your c=LTC
And when we solve a block with our party pool it will divide the earnings to the miners in the party pool.

So if we solve a LTC block we get 25, and if 9 of us are in the party we all get 25/9= 2,77777777..  Is this correct or am i missing something

in theory yes. But rather than just concentrating on finding the LTC block our party will take any scrypt coin block it finds and then convert to LTC no wasted hash and still may find an LTC block...which would be good and if that happens yes 25 /9 (or however many party members)

I can't for the life of me get Zergpool working, and I'd love to join the party! It is constantly switching from active to dead and only spits out hardware errors when it does connect. Any Ideas? Using stratum+tcp://scrypt.mine.zergpool.com:3433 and c=LTC,m=party.Apollo for th PW.

Never mind, got it working now. All I did was remove the donation pool.
