Anyone recently receive theirs?  Ordered mine in July before it was sold out.  Was told it would ship out last week.  Never received tracking information.  Inquired about it on Monday, said I would get a tracking number in a few hours, received a tracking number but it's still in pre-shipment, hasn't moved since Monday.

I ordered mine June 21st and received it August 15th. mine was showing pre-shipment up until about an hour before it was delivered.

With everything my wife and I have ordered lately in the past several weeks - from numerous different places - tracking hasn't updated till after we received our orders haha..Gotta love USPS..So I would not worry too much, he's a stand up guy.

There were about a dozen stragglers left in the last pre-order shipment last week...yours was probably one of them (we ran out of SD cards  Undecided ). Those should be in carrier hands by now.

Hi,

Just saw the link, got very excited, and had to go look.

First up, i love your product, and would love to buy one....
However, sorry to say, but i think especially in the UK, your pice now seems way out of touch.

I mean fully loaded with psu and sd card, iys over £320 before shipping and taxes.
When you compare that to how ridiculously cheap 2nd hand L3+ now are...well, i don't really know what to say

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bitmain-Antminer-L3-504M-Scrypt-Litecoin-LTC-ASIC-Miner-504-MH-s-Bitmain-PSU/133149577170?hash=item1f00554fd2:g:aTIAAOSwbShdIxob

Look, i sincerely wish you all the best, and will still happily refer newbies to your product (as i say, i am a supporter, and it IS a prpbably the best starter device on the market), but one is bad, but by the time you buy 2 or 3, i mean you could have 1-1.5ghs from elsewhere.

In my mind its no more than a £200 device, fully loaded.

Just my 2p worth....

Thanks for your thoughts but not sure why people keep comparing it to L3s and telling me thats what they "should" be priced at. Its price exactly where it needs to be for me to make it, and pay my bills. This product cant even be compared to an L3 on any metric. Also im not bitmain that is losing 100s of millions of dollars a quarter. I actually operate in the real world where I have to pay my suppliers out of pocket (hence pre-orders), and cant sell something for a loss just because everyone else is.

Your buying a brand new product (not something 3+ years old), thats nearly twice the efficiency, made in the USA, incomparable sound level, and not to mention software updates for this will make it into a full blown casa node, that alone costs 300 USD. Personally I think I am selling this way cheaper than I should be, but im not in the business of unfairly pricing products for pure greed.

I think most people look at prices and think of it/compare it on a basis of making ROI or not. And truth be told, most ASICs are hard to make ROI on unless you have decently low electric rates.

I like this miner for the fact that it can sit right here in the same room with me and be more efficient than an L3 - compared to my BW L21 which rum 550 mh/s but uses near 900w to do so - if I had 5 Apollos I could pull 500 mh/s for near 500 watts - very close to twice as efficient.

Like i said, just my initial thoughts when i saw the price...
However, i guess the reason it gets compared to the L£ it, well becuase they are both "scrypt" miners....erm, its the only competiton for the L3, so is obviously going to be compared.
I absolutely agree...of course you have to make money, how else will you be around to make even more great products. I don't follow Bitman, or who ever they are, so have zero idea that they lose money on their products...seems daft if they do
Don't have an Apollo, so can't comment on noise, my underclocked L3 is okay-ish noise wise, louder, but not as annoying as the moonlander 2's i have, which screech like banshees....
No idea what a Casa node is, so completely irrelevant. (I'm buying a scrypt miner)
Made in the USA, well I'm British, so that means absolutly nothing to me...i know China, whilst making lots of crap, also make world class products, its all down to picking the right suppliers, and managing them. I guess The US of A makes good products too.

Like i say, i absolutely WILL recommend your products to people i think they will suit, and to be honest thats just about every newbie, who wants to dip a toe in, and every "family" guy/gal who wants a beautiful product that can sit in the living room, being a talking point...they look a wierd thing of beauty....i simply think for the more seasoned miner, especially if you want to ramp up the MH, and certainly from a UK perspective, with shipping and taxes, they look a tad expensive ( i never said a complete ripoff, just a tad expensive)
If i ever get offered a 2nd hand one at a decent price, i will happily add it to my collection, and give it a decent test...i actually think, its about as exiting as the original Zeus miners, off which i have about 10, and all thou completely out dated, still make me smile mainly due to their simplicity, and elegance, something i also see in your product. ( like i say i havent seen an Apollo in the flesh, but on YT, etc, they look bloody sexy - for a miner)

The one thing no-one has yet confirmed to me, is can they solo mine directly to a wallet, as the moonlanders do, or not? Thay would actually be the make or break point for me, since i only ever solo mine.

I did mine with the password as just x but i think with some of the pools you need to use the C= to designate which coin you want for payout.

Got my Apollo setup mining to an auto switch pool of Scrypt to BTC.  First payout of 0.0025 BTC should be reached in around 300 days, lol.  Those obsessed with ROI would have a field day with this.  I’m just enjoying the ride.

If you guys want to make a little bit more you should list the rig on https://www.miningrigrentals.com/register?ref=2013.
When the rig is rented it usually makes x3 - x4 times what it makes on regular pools. Of course you can try to rent it for even more. But at that price it can be rented fairly often.
When the rig is not rented it just mines on your regular pool so it's just a bonus from time to time. Also, I use the site as a pool switcher without having to restart the Apollo (very useful).
Just a thought!

hello dear, I have the possibility to buy it in EU for 350 € ..

I wanted to know if there is really the possibility of earning something ... as with me the cost of the current is € 0.21 (kw / h) and therefore I have to be on very low hardware as consumption, for home, I wanted to know if it's worth it or not .. thanks to all .. hello forum ...

If you want a way to slowly collect litecoin without buying it, and don't care about burning a lightbulb 24/7 to do it, then yes right now is the best time to be mining since difficulty is almost half of what it was during it peak (and you earn almost as much litecoin as you would have pre-halving).

If you only care about fiat, and dumping crypto for fiat so you can 'ROI' then no this is not for you.

thanks for the reply, but there is also the possibility to connect to any pool and undermine any crypto with the same "algo scrypt"

Thanks in advance
