2 years running 24/7 @ home eco mode on litecoinpool.

All good

What's the life expectancy of the LTC miners?

My two 1st generation Apollos are still going strong. Litecoinpool is finally a good place to be today (last month or so) with the DOGE assist.

I just got mine plugged in and it says hashboard 1 is offline.

The miner is registered with my slush pool account (I see it in the workers) and the light on the front of the device is solid red.  Any ideas on what would cause this.

Take a look here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5081750.msg48523684#msg48523684

There is the LED Status Lights section.

Work well with any pool.
I think you have to find the best one for you, depending on your preference.
Any Scrypt pool is good with it  Smiley

I'm using litecoinpool from a long time.

Any chance for another batch of Scrypt Apollo miners? Is scrypt as an algo worth pursuing versus SHA256?

-Solid Red LED: Hardware fault or system shutdown (Red LED during normal operation means hardware monitor detected a fault with either the voltage regulator, Fan operation, or abnormal PCB temperatures)

URE MINER IS DEAD

Does anyone know that the owner/inventor of this miner responds? I sent an email through the customer service link on the website but never heard anything. My LTC minor burnt up at the power supply connection. Wanting to see if things are repairable. I've been running it straight on The Middle performance setting. Realized the other day I didn't see any activity. Plug where the power supply plugs to the miner was black and crumbled apart. Don't remember how to attach pictures here.

DEpend how you used it, or oc it
if mined directly or rent it out the cause of melted power point,

mine recently popped same taking out the $400+ 1kw PSU

only way it melts is something died shorted out inside it as bottom not sealed and everything exposed to metal shelves, water or creepy crawlies or pets  or PEST.

buy replacement hi-temp power socket resolder dont use cheap low-temp recycled china mades like used in all asic rigs plastic melts from temps from currents per pin so close to each other.

if i did not smelt it in time it was then arching over metal 12volts to ground. but i fear for mine it could be internal than patches of burnt marks

b4 turning back, power up, test for short across pins of mini board. i not tried it yet as i not ordered or found hi-temp pci/gpu power port/sockets online most are china/despatched and not rated enough for our country standard safety rating

after mine popped and mining even on latest best asic rigs no longer ROI ,trading coins time wasting and have to declare each trade losses/ if lucky few cents profit, day in and out 24/7/365 umm  no thanks being involved in crypto when blockchain and crypto accounts being hacked out and all wallet devs and coins even eth have no insurance after 6 years mining. im wiped out

i only bought crypto to buy asic miners not maccas or pizza via my banks visa card account held at. crypto takes longer to clear banks is instant eftpos.

my home insurance company had the house burnt down of landlords i be out of pocket if rig used non safe power cables/plugs if plastic coating was low-temp melting plastic/materials

so after last months asic rig fire and power bills higher than blockchain mining def see me  Bringing ASIC Mining Back to this Home Miner!, as i be looking for work as gold miner instead
