It's just because the price of Citex was wrong yesterday, 2 times cheaper and today it is back to the normal price.
Citex is a shit exchange, and the result is that there are absurd variations
The problem is not even in the exchange itself, but in the CMC statistics. It is enough to conduct one transaction to buy/sell even 0.001 tokens/coins at an inflated price and the CMC "draws" a 100-1000% increase in value. The algorithm for determining the cost is not intelligent, but automatic.
That exchanges lack in volume is not CMC fault. They are just a quotes / data aggregator. Another thing to bear in mind is, who the fluff cares? Its just a small push from whales addressed to give boost to DEFI coins, and seeing them start to gain traction, smaller coins also start to wiggle. Its nothing. Logic in peoples heads guides their act. And the logic of distributed market is that no trader will buy shitcoins for no reason. At ANY price.
