What is the difference of Bitcoin and Altcoin? Those two got me confused ey. Noobie here.

Bitcoin has the old technology but it's the first blockchain, first cryptocurrency in the world. And altcoin is the rest, all coins/token were created after Bitcoin had the name Altcoin

Bitcoin is the pioneer coin with the largest volume and popularity till date, all other coins are called altcoins to differ from bitcoin, i personally think bitcoin will not be replaced easily, it still has big future ahead.

Bitcoin was the first "coin" and cryptocurrency and is already almost 10 years old, if I'm not mistaken. And hence it is the most popular one to date, because people are naturally attracted to things that are "first" on the scene. Altcoins are coins that are an "alternative" to bitcoin with their own blockchains, which try to upgrade on the blockchain that bitcoin has. At least something like that is said in laymen terms.

There is no difference because these are both cryptocurrencies. Bitcoin is a cryptocurrency that is recognized by many due to it's high value. While altcoins are coins that are alternatives of bitcoins which consists of many coins. These alternatives helps people invest in crypto even without Bitcoin in their pocket.

Bitcoin is the only one supreme coin of the market. Those altcoins are just its subordinates and there's no other coin that be compared to bitcoin. You seem to misunderstood that bitcoin is also an altcoin, no bitcoin isn't an altcoin. It's not an altcoin whereas altcoins are copied from bitcoin which is the original and first cryptocurrency.

Absolutely right. In the space of crypto, Bitcoin is somewhere, here at the top of the pile of coins, followed closely behind by Ethereum and then the rest of altcoins as mentioned above.

Actually BTC is the 1st coin in the market based on this it is in the top position whereas altcoin came after btc also these have good values in the market some of the altcoins is ETH, Ripple, EOS etc.
