Just talked to the pool owner (from weminecrypto), since he is low on money and the dev isn't responding, he temporarily shut down the pool.

You have to know guys that running a (or multiple) pool does cost some money. And since he is low on money, he can't afford a pool with a AWOL developer.

How can one have trust in a coin with the developer not responding?

Well that's my point. We need a new dev to take over - one that is actually here.

How can I get my coins? No one on IRC, which is the only support option.

Every weminecrypto pool is gone, not just this one.  Lame excuse.  I want my money

Well, if he is low on money while running this pool... He is probably also low on money on other pools isn't he?

I didn't blame him, did I?
I do totally understand the decision of the owner though.
