It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

NXT is now 100% open source!

1. Could somebody point me to the link of recently announced open source?
2. Does announced open source still have fatal flaw inside it?

1. https://bitbucket.org/JeanLucPicard/nxt/src
2. No, but if the only changes u want to do is changing the genesis block then u'll trigger a trap

Q:
But wasn't the full source code supposed to be released by April?
A:

CFB, are you the only one communicating with BCNext? Who will be in touch with him when you depart in 3 1/2 weeks?

He had left the day before Nxt source code became public. Went for good to work on other things. I'll get 3rd part of the plan in April but I can't contact him anymore.

Thread has moved to:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=502985.msg5537175#msg5537175

New UPDATE Category on Nxter.org.

The Nxt Newsletter has been praised, but Nxt is moving fast. Daily Summaries and a weekly newsletter just isn't enough, if you want to stay in the loop with a truly decentralized project that holds so many possibilities. Innovations and groundbreaking features are being built into the Nxt core and on top of Nxt every day. Nxt is innovation based upon Bitcoin's approach, but it's coded from scratch, energy efficient, PoS, with Colored Coins, Alias system, Anonymous Transfers and AC built in.

Join the newsletter HERE.
Subscribe to the rss feed HERE, or get these updates through TWITTER.

The sources for the updates on Nxter.org are (as always) our various Nxt BCT threads and Nxt forums.
If you are the one going to make the news, send a private notice to Nxter.org HERE or do it publicly HERE.

Hi apenzl,

I just read the following article:

http://nxter.org/fatal-flaw-in-nxt-source-code/

It has the headline: "Fatal flaw in Nxt source code!"

And that's what people see when they search Nxt with Google.

I think that it could unintentionally mislead them into thinking it was a real flaw.
(Already met someone who thinks that one of these flaws was a real one).

I would suggest to change it to "The 3rd injected flaw was found".

Thanks. It was intentional but… probably a bad idea.  Tongue  I'll change it asap!
