I understand the Labrador location is "undisclosed".  By chance is there inside pictures that we can check out?

If I sent you a bunch of s3's and their Corsair Tx800's psu [2 s3's per psu]  would you consider that 1000 watt or under?

Some Crypo-Hoster's do not accept c1's, will you accept them?

By the way....if your price is in CAD and we are in the US I at the current exchange rate it seems like we are really paying about $57 USD per 1000w.  Is that correct?

I'll post pics of the inside when I'm back. I'll also add it to the website. Right now the facility is not in its final "neat" form but here are a few pics of the work in progress:

Umm, well the S3s consume 350 watts at the wall so if you're sending us 2 S3s then yeah that's clearly under 1000 watts.

We accept C1s. I don't see any reason why they should be a problem. We will likely keep them bunched together but separated from the non water cooled gear just to be safe Wink

Yes that is correct, you are actually paying $57 USD (or whatever the exchange rate is these days) per 1kw which in my book is an amazing deal! When I used to host in the States I remember paying $90 to $99 USD. So while the USD is strong vs the CAD it's time to take advantage and host with a Canadian miner hosting provider.

P.S. If you have further questions send them to sales [at] cryptoboreas.com  I will try to get my friend in on this thread so he can answer your questions but e-mail is the ideal way to reach us while I am gone.

UPDATE:

We now have a UPS shipping box in Montreal. All new customer gear should be sent there. Postal code is: H1S0A5
This should be enough info to calculate shipping costs. Local pickup in Montreal and Toronto is still available so if you live in any of these two cities or around the area (within reason) we will pickup your gear in person.

Scroll a few posts up, there are some pics there. For now there are no new pics as we're still working on the entire setup. There are new racks to be installed, new gear to be arranged, and more exhaust blowers to be installed. Once it's all cleaned up and more "neat" I'll see if I can post more pics.

The only pictures are in the post I already replied to which said you would post more pictures when you returned from vacation. Those are the pictures I was asking about.

I thought those pictures you posted before were of earlier work in progress but that you had now opened for business to host for clients? So this is not the case, you are still building the facility now? I apologize for being confused.

When do you expect to complete the work and actually be ready to start hosting customers' equipment?

Do you not see the pics in this post:

??

No, the facility is ready and we are already hosting customer equipment. It is just that it's not "neatl" organized yet. By that I mean the racks are not in their final location and there are various bits of equipment lying around. Our priority first is adding new gear and expanding, cosmetics later.

I hope you understand me now.

Just a status update for all those of you who are following this thread. We are planning a transformer upgrade sometime next month if all the chips fall into place. Thus we'll have more hosting capacity!

Hi, i would like to thanks to allinvain and his team for an excellent job and help;

Some months ago, i was seeking a host site to build a new "operation base", and after seeking and asking, i decided to start and try with Cryptoboreas -price was important to be convinced, but also the very high trust that have allinvain, with no negative vote-, so i send them a new antminer S7 batch 1 and a spondoolies SP20. The service started last october 15 and was very good -and stable, with no downtime-. Since that, i send to the host 5 more miners with the same good results.
Some days ago, i told to Alan i would like to upgrade my miners to last eficience -antminer s7 or best-, and he helped me selling my worse efficient miners -s5 and sp20-, and i am very grateful for it. In some days i'll send him new miners to keep growing my operation base.

Today I am convinced that i choose correctly the hosting. I'm very happy with it.

Thank you both for the positive comments!

Here is a status update for everyone. The installation of the second transformer will begin in a a day or two. Once it goes live (around the first to second week of January) we should have more capacity open. Then it will be on to transformer #3 Smiley
