use cgminer 3.7.3 kecckak

Smiley

Anyone know why I'm not able to mine with my CPU while my GPU's mine Meth?

I'm not mining Meth with my CPU, just regular scrypt.  Both Multipool and Coinmine cause my Meth miner to stop accepting shares.  Closing the CPU miner immediately allows my Meth miner to start accepting shares again.

What arguments do you have in your CPU miner? Also keep in mind cgminer will be using some CPU and memory while doing keccak.

My mining .bat file just has minerd to open it and then pool:port u/p that's it.

This is an i7 CPU and 8GB ram and I have no problems running it while GPU mining with any other coin.

Use MINERD.EXE for CPU mining scrypt.  I have CGMINER and Minerd going at the same time on two rigs.  Never a problem.

I'm not CPU mining, but your minerd start.bat or conf. will need to tell minerd to use keccak, not scrypt(which is the default I think) You will also need a version of minerd with keccak support.

This is outlined on the first post: minerd.exe -a keccak -o stratum+tcp://pool-url.com:port -u worker -p password

I have it to use 5 threads out of 8.

Remember to vote! We already have more votes then h2coin that launched this same day, pawncoin, LGBTcoin. And remember that ~400votes was deleted and this is second (yes 2nd!) day of voting.
