Awesome coin, but please make it scrypt-jane. No asics, lower temperatures and I can sleep better (lower fanspeed)
Also implement kgw only after let's say a few days of mining or you will get Rubycoin drama with insane diff.
Agreed. It also saves a ton of ton of energy. but success would depend on wider distribution

It is premine only 1%, that's why I don't think it will be like Aurora Coin, many coins to be distributed for free.

Step 1- get as many POS coins as humanly possible Step 2- leave your mint, zeit, Black, EBT, JFK, and any other POS wallets open and unlocked. Step 3- Hibernate

We are covering all legal details. We're not just looking for copyright permissions, but making sure we are not mistaken with the JFK Golden half dollar (i.e. jfkcoin.com) and any other JFK-related entities. The biggest goal, obviously is to be endorsed by a nationally recognized institution, and we have an open dialog with two at the moment. Correct me if i'm wrong but Because JFK was a public official and a president wouldn't that allow free use of his namesake and likeness without Approval?

Though this isn't the biggest news yet, we have our first endorsement in hand!
More details will be shared in the next 2-3 days, along with space promo video & site launch.

What is the going strategy for mining the very minute the launch takes place? Do people typically solo-mine at that launch, or join a pool? Will there be a countdown page giving us some advanced notice? And will Twitter tell us the minute that an exchange is ready for purchasing coins?

Solo mining at launch depends on your hash rate. I usually will solo mine for some time then hop on a p2pool if available.

Which level of hashrate do you feel makes sense to solo-mine at the launch of a coin? Curious how you know when to switch to a pool?

I personally use to solo mine with 2.2kh but I am now at a little over 9. I like to solo and keep a close eye on difficulty to see how it rises. Just mine until you feel you might make more with a pool. Soloing is really luck for the most part. I have mined coins that gave me 0 for hours and I then move on, other times I'll get a lot of blocks all stacked up. Just try it and see how it works for you but remember when you join a pool try to find a p2pool. 2 cents

Are you already in contact with any exchanges? Some Coins are on Cryptorush for example directly with the launch. Or maybe you can ask some Exchanges to put JFK on there Voting-List so ppl can vote from the start to get the coin on an Exchange.

Well, I must admit, you found the only two things that Kennedy did in his time in office that I like! The Fed stuff and the race to the moon were two very good things. We'll all just be quiet about all that other stuff. Shhh! I am unclear why you need permission from anyone. It would be nice, don't get me wrong, but presidents are fair game for everything. Oh, well. Good Luck -- I'll be watching!
