I can't believe how much MazaCoin and Auroracoin have increased in the last 24 hours.  I wish I would have had the insight to invest in them.

But why aren't you giving any indepth analysis of these coins in your blog?
Everyone can look at a coin that has been pumped and say "damn I wish I had invested in it". There are good reasons why a lot of people refrain from investing in Aurora and Maza. Sure they are great short term investments and if you got a few bitcoins laying around they were definitely interesting enough to put into it as speculation, but long term they have absolutely zero chance at survival.

Auroracoin will plummet into the depths of obscurity once the airdrop of reality hits. Most smart investors know this and will dump it way before.
Mazacoin would've been interesting *if* the Lakota people actually had any chance of using it! The Lakota indians represent 55 000 people, and the vast majority of them are beneath the poverty line without internet...
To me this is almost cruel, giving these people who has zero comprehension of cryptos a false hope that they'll be given tens of thousands worth of this "something" and then reality is that the dump will arrive here too.

This new trend of NationCoins is a breath of fresh air into a suicide-inducingly boring clone war, but so far none of them show long term promise.

Imagine the pain of being dead-set on investing on both, but being constricted by Coinbases ungodly slow verification and purchasing system.

Coulda Woulda Shoulda.

Open your eyes and find the next one, though I'm far from convinced that Maza is dead.

Next big question will be: Why did i not invest in KlondikeCoin? Just had a huge block reward drop. Many webshops accepting kdc now, since added to coinpayments.net (ended 2nd place). Committed community and active devs. Lot happend past few days. Wouldnt be supriced to see a huge raise in price soon.

I know how that Coinbase deposit process is, torturous at best.

KDC might do ok for your average buyers, but the name is just terrible. Can't see many ladies jumping for this one or 99% of the coinnames for that matter.

Obv AUR and MAZA are scamcoins both being pumped by devs with a fake story that will never come to fruition, of course the smart people will dump out while they ride the scam
wave and make some decent cash on it, but beware if you not out when the kids realize it was a scam.

I will write articles with a more in-depth analysis as well, but this topic just jumped into my head today.  Like I said in the article, I believe that microCoin is a great long-term investment, which is why I am holding onto them without worrying about any short-term fluctuations.  I just feel that many people were interested in both Auroracoin and MazaCoin after their historic rally yesterday.

I agree that the air drop is going to hurt Auroracoin, but the coin itself may have a chance of survival if the citizens of Iceland don't all dump it at once.

Considering that MazaCoin is based out of Canada, it does raise some questions about who is really benefiting from it.  I never considered how the Lakota people would actually use the coin, as most don't have access to the Internet.

You have certainly got me thinking, as you bring up some valid points.

Which coin do you feel has the best long-term investment potential?  I would be willing to write an in-depth article on it.

You do realize that all they need is a cell phone to use Maza. And also the developer of the coin is giving workshops to not only train the populace in the usage of cryptos, but is also spreading more in depth information like mining and the technology behind cryptocurrency.

I notice in your blog you mention that you stayed away from Auroracoin because of the hype. But you're talking about daytrading.

I'm no expert, but it seems to me like the hype is exactly what you want to follow when day trading. Hype means people putting money into it. Money coming in in means your coins go up in value. Screw Iceland, jump off at $30, $50, or $70 with everyone else. You're using long and medium-term principles when they simply do not apply.

I would just like to say that you could still invest in Maza, it hasn't hit Cryptsy yet and will probably hit .0003 when it does.

You are right, the way I wrote that doesn't make sense.   Undecided

What I meant to say is that at the current elevated price, the hype is just going to bring in new traders, while everyone who made 500% on their money is going to sell.  Chances are that more people will sell than buy at this point in time.

Thanks for pointing that out, I am going to go back and edit that.

I can see that been the case if it does goes to Cryptsy, the question is: How much more can realistically go up ?

Which coin do you feel has the best long-term investment potential?  I would be willing to write an in-depth article on it.

Serious investors wanting serious investments would do worse than look at Aircoin.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=476383.0

Aircoin seems to be under the auspices of some very serious, very intelligent and committed devs, they have taken a completely unique approach to this coin based on maths. no less!

The devs answer all queries with hugely competent, massively informative and thorough posts, I really can't fault them.

I know I'm sounding like a fanboy, but I've never seen a coin project like it, spend ten minutes checking it out.

At a first glance, I see that Aircoin is premined.

Maza is more crooked than Aurora.  Maza only benefits the developer and a few Chieftains, not the Latokah people who are impoverished.

Many of these Chieftains already receive millions in handouts and also make millions off casinos and smuggling.  Someobe needs to fork Maza and airdrop to the Lakotah people themselves

Good point, I like the airdrop idea.  Smiley

In the meantime, MazaCoin is up almost 1000%
