WPP ENERGY - BACKED ASSET GREEN ENERGY TOKEN

This seems like a very elaborate way to not get much. I think most people should and would realise this was a scam in some way before they gave away their details. The saving grace even if they didn't is that most people usually have the smarts to use different usernames and passwords for different things. Even still, if you spare one person then that's your good dead for the day done.

Those scammers developed a different type of approach. This one however takes a lot of time to accomplish because gaining trust in other people's eyes through telegram is a very hard task.

What would you call this type of scam?  Is it ICO or cryptocurrency related scam or romance scam?  Either way, if you found love on Telegram, your prayers have been answered, however, when your supposed love now starts demanding for stuffs to be paid in cryptocurrency, then, you should wise up.  Do not fall into all these romances to the extent of dropping your Private Key, some people could be that easy to manipulate. Other scam included but not limited to those who would message one out of the blues to buy coins directly from them. We all know this, caution needs to be taken here.

This type of scam has a name. It's called ewhoring and it's a black hat way to drive converting leads to dating affiliate programs or to trick the victim to pay using cryptocurrency or giftcards for a private cam show.
This is a pretty old scam method.People can find lots of info about ewhoring in forums like Hackforums.net...
I guess that all the "ewhores" had moved from Skype,Kik and Snapchat to Telegram. Angry

Thanks for sharing this with us. There are lots of scams going on there. You will just see a random message out of the blue, obviously, the sender of the message got your contact from an ICO page one joins. You'll either be told about a new coin entirely and that she has access to giving you mouth watering bonuses. It does not even end there, one could be telling you about Private Key and all. Those people are very cunning and manipulative. Do not even keep the conversation going. Another could be there telling or luring you through love related messages. They are boss in their game, playing it perfectly. In the long and short run, your coins are at stake if care isn't taken.

Yes, the world and people living in it have discovered the powers embedded in women bodies and that is why the pictures of women are used for selling points for any gathering, organizations, telegram profile etc.

Even ico groups or teams tend to be guilty of this too. They showcase women very seductively dressed when they take group photos and all the rest. These are usually gimmicks to win people over to one's side and if you are unlucky, you could either be scammed directly (in terms of sending coins) or later (when you invest wrongly in a scam ico because of the beautiful ladies pics that you have been stocked with).

Well, these are pretty obvious scams taking place openly on the internet and even on the telegram groups. However, there are some serious scam attempts which might steal your funds from you and your web accounts. They pretend to be the service/support representative of popular web wallets or exchanges and they ask you about your confidential information, newbies for such traps and lose their money. That's why it is crucial to do own research before doing anything.

..i thank you for this kind of scam alert..well,,we cannot prevent the faster spreading of these scammers..because they do exist everywhere..what we gonna do is to become wary and be a keen observant on what is happenng in our sorroundings and in the world of crypto..when money is involve,,there is no assurance that your investments are secure..so before you invest,,do some of your investigations if they are really legit or not..make sure that you invest the things what you are afford to lost..

You would need to be very naive to fall for something so completely obvious. But then again, I've seen even CEOs of companies not even understand the most basic of scam tactics on Telegram. So I can see why some broken english guy from India might fall for such a seemingly obvious trap. It's very simple guys, don't send money to anyone for any reason on Telegram unless you know them!
You will be surprised, people fall for almost any kind of trick, it doesn't matter if it seems very obvious that it is a scam, so I really think that is important to spread the knowledge about this new form of scam that scammers are using to try to get money out of you, I still think that those that are smart will never fall for it, but if we can save at least one person then it's worth the effort to spread the news.

Thank you for the information you provided, I have also found a telegram chat like that but I never opened it even to respond because I thought it was a very unimportant thing and we did not need to respond.
I also heard about this, so I am very careful.
I think that such fraud has happened for a long time and many types of fraud can take your data not only through telegrams.
so for that be careful in doing anything especially things that look very prominent for us to open a blog or another.

Lol. Thats very old technique and also as a crypto investor I would never fall for such traps! I mean already crypto is filled with full of scammers and thus getting ourselves trapped into fake profiling would be the worst case scenario. In the telegram I will never accept the PM from anyone and it doesnt matter how hard they call themselves as admins, official person etc. Also, no admin will contact you by themselves and this is also always mentioned by them in the telegram group of their project. So surely anyone falling for the traps like this would be stupid person at all.

Trust me, there are a lot of newbies in crypto that would fall for this. Many probably have fallen already.

Greedy people in money was always their just like what link you've send. I wonder that they doing everything to victim and to get a money from you. Scammers are so intelligence in terms of scamming so that is what you need was be vigilante on who and where are you giving your identities or the KYC to use for the illegal transaction. Alwaya be carefull and don't come into their traps and get your money.

Scammers try all the time something new and improve their technologies. I think they probably get a lot from their deals and that's why they become more and more. So everyone needs to be very careful and try to avoid any strange activity.

This is no longer new but some people can still fall victim of this. There are several of these kind of scammers on virtually all cryptocurrency groups on telegram, whatsapp etc. You have to be very careful. As mush as possible, be smart not to have any kind of dealings with someone you don't know at all.

If anything that is just another reason, as if we needed even more reasons, to not use social media as much and to not give details about who you are and especially about the amount of bitcoins and other cryptocurrency that you are holding, I see a lot of people brag about the amount of coins that they're holding not understanding that they are just putting a big target on their backs.
