I'm actually fed up for it day by day losing out price.
Who else thinks or notice that ethereum can make it to $1k in 2018 again, or what do you guys think.

For myself, the entire market is boring in 2018 everything goes down and ETH is also a victim of the bear market. Everyone's anticipation and desire for ETH will increase by the end of the year probably shattered today. Price continues to fall to 250$ and will continue to fall, There is no reason or a surprise for ETH until the end of the year, for ETH to go up like in early 2018, we need to wait for at least 2 years

This maybe the great news for all of the eth holders and hopefully this will bring more increase like what happened when they also launched bitcoin futures, the price was indeed skyrocketed.

Cryptocurrency investors just choose to go with bitcoin for now. Almost all altcoins are bleeding too much. Also no one knows if ethereum price could reach 1k$ this month or until Q4 2018. But I believed that when next bull run comes eth prices can surpass its all time high.

For now it is hard to predict if is all time high will happen this year, look at the market movement the recovery aren't going started yet. Ethereum and Bitcoin is one of the top choices that good to invest and hopefully before the end of the year the market will rise.

It's plummenting down hard, but there is no reaction from bulls. Even bulls have abandoned ETH. It's doomed. I've been saying this like months because it was so obvious.

Don't look at its price everyday if you determined that you would hold it for long time. It is being on the downtrend and the recover will come soon. Let's be calm down

I am quite baffled also, it seems a lot of investors are looking away from etherium or the market is still being manipulated, It worries me though cos it is part of the bane of most ICO's who solely depend on it for development, had remembered when it suddenly jumped from $100 to $200 last year but here everything keeps stagnating, there is hope for the coin anyway

What do you mean when you say "boring"? You tired of it's low price and that's why it's boring? That is the difference – ETH is more affordable than BTC and this fact attractcs a lot of people. So is it really boring? No. It's just more affordable way to get into crypto business.

Lol. How is it boring? Just because the value is going down instead of up? Are you new to crypto or something? Nothing is crypto is guaranteed and all coins have their ups and downs. If you believe in eth then you should keep holding, but if you don't then maybe you should get out whilst you can. Personally I think eth is one of the better alt coins and actually has some real-world uses with smart contracts etc, so I think this is just a temporary lul. It's probably even a good time to buy some more because I think it will reach it's all time high again at some point in the future, but that's just my own personal opinion and speculation.

The market has not yet begun its recovery and soon we will see the growth of Ether too, it remains to wait a bit and as soon as the market goes on growth it will be possible to see the Ether at a more  big price.

I suggest you read an interesting article Jeremy Rubin(Bitcoin Core Developer and technical consultant Stellar), it's called "The collapse of ETH is inevitable".  And so same the answer Vitalik Buterin on this article. This should add a little understanding to the situation.

Bitcoin became popular because people actually used it to buy and sell stuff in the early days.  Nowadays that's become impossible because the BTC transaction fee has risen to a ridiculous state.

ETH to make it to $1K is still highly possible. We are in early September now and I still think there is enough time for it to shoot up high before this year goes to an end. For now, it is really boring which I agree. But there is still more time.

Today is a surprise because the price of Bitcoin has decreased by 40USD. This condition is not a good thing because most of Etherum's investors must experience panic, I also feel strange because even though Etherum currently has a very large market share. I believe that price manipulation is still a major factor affecting most price movements in the Crypto world. There needs to be an education for many people that maintaining patience and avoiding panic is a good choice when the market is in a bad condition like today.

Etheream is its own killer. It doesn't need any outside help to kill it off. All the ICOS using Ethereum dump all the ETH they get, and that is millions of dollars every day of ETH they collect getting dumped. So don't expect Eth to be going up any time soon. Eth price wise is dead in the water for now and will just keep going down. I see ETH back to the 100 bucks level by December as other platforms by then will also be taking over. It'as real shame it isn't getting the support it needs to grow form all those ICOS feeding off of it. What can we small-time retail investors do, nothing but sit back and watch the crashes all the time in the market.

Etherum is damn boring, low prospects and less growth in the market
It’s a dump token for fake ico experts and that has caused couple lots of issues

If you already own Etherum, it’s best to keep holding till the next year or year after
But regardless it’s safer with bitcoin for now
