Crypto Growth Nears Ceiling, Ethereum Co-Founder Buterin Says

The days of explosive growth in the blockchain industry have likely come and gone now the average person is aware of its existence, according to Vitalik Buterin, co-founder of Ethereum.
“The blockchain space is getting to the point where there’s a ceiling in sight,” Buterin said in an interview with Bloomberg at an Ethereum and blockchain conference in Hong Kong. “If you talk to the average educated person at this point, they probably have heard of blockchain at least once. There isn’t an opportunity for yet another 1,000-times growth in anything in the space anymore.”

I guess he's right, just come to think about it what was the difference now and before. You'll wonder where are those good old days now? It seems that most of these days, all the development team and his team are too busy creating a full of shit coin or a quick rich scheme rather than making a good outcome of their projects which can contribute to the blockchain community.

I'm not really against with those words and in fact those are been part of the reality and he do really have that point.I cant even see anymore a reason for us to hit up those 1000x multipliers on coins that do exist.Due to scams and frauds where it do lose up confidence on most investors and for sure who do really learn up on how this market works.For now we can already presume that it wont really be the same as of these upcoming years to come on to this market.

I dont understand the statement at all, I mean I need someone to correct me if I am wrong! If he says that the average person also knows or heard about the crypto currency then isn't it is good thing about it and thus will push the crypto currencies to all new highest? I mean people will be buying it more and more and thus demand will be higher than the supply leading to high cost per coin!! This is what should be the scenario but I dont think Vitalik is talking about it right at all. I am not sure if he have made the right statement or may be im not getting the technical stuff right here!

It is very strange to hear about the investment that it will not be profitable. It's just that it will become more difficult to invest against the background of a heap of new projects and constant competition in the world of crypto-currencies

I think his statment is immature and unrealistic, crypto has a deflationary model that means constant growth and demand overtime resulting in growth in value, so he is false if he said there will not be further growth, i think Vitalik has lost his mind and i think he needs to keep his mouth shut because he often speaks fud and nothing else.

I don't think so this is an evolving technology and there is always a room for improvement, adoption, and growth, there will always going to be a new project that will be adopted by the community using any cryptocurrency algorithm in the market, there's still a lot of ICO in the market and we are in the bear market.

I do not trust the words or Buterin and neither do i reckon with them. I still believe ethereum would rise and still rise beyond $1000. This is cryptocurrency, Buterin is nit the one trading them, so he cannot predict what would happen.
