I convert my crypto to USD because crypto is useless for purchasing 99% of the kind of stuff I buy! Were the merchants with whom I deal to accept crypto, I would use it that way. My $.02.

well i guess praying can do anything i totally believe in Christ !! But hey an asteroid all one can pray about is that it doesn't hit their area i guess !! LOL. So because of your thoughts, a deity would decide to kill a different set of people? That's one whacked god you have. Lol hey I was being quite practical in that concern I mean if it has to hit then it will obviously we can only pray that it doesn't hit our area.

Haha! It would be like a check on faith and praying
Praying is pointless and foolish.

Praying is pointless and foolish. Agreed but it makes the superstitious ones feel better. My $.02.

Since it fits in so nice, that's what George Carlin had to say about religion : But people do pray, and they pray for a lot of different things, you know [...] And I say, fine. Pray for anything you want. Pray for anything, but what about the Divine Plan? Remember that? The Divine Plan. Long time ago, God made a Divine Plan. Gave it a lot of thought, decided it was a good plan, put it into practice. And for billions and billions of years, the Divine Plan has been doing just fine. Now, you come along, and pray for something.
Well suppose the thing you want isn't in God's Divine Plan? What do you want Him to do? Change His plan? Just for you? Doesn't it seem a little arrogant? It's a Divine Plan. What's the use of being God if every run-down shmuck with a two-dollar prayerbook can come along and f*ck up Your Plan? And here's something else, another problem you might have: Suppose your prayers aren't answered. What do you say? "Well, it's God's will." "Thy Will Be Done." Fine, but if it's God's will, and He's going to do what He wants to anyway, why the f*ck bother praying in the first place? Seems like a big waste of time to me! Couldn't you just skip the praying part and go right to His Will? It's all very confusing.

My $.02. Care to post a transaction link? I see a lot of potential coin piling up somewhere. Who gets it? Can I pray for it?

If the whole world decided to start to pray to avoid an asteroid hit I'd be the first on to be happy if it actually did hit. Superstitious fools.

If the entire planet's reaction to a high impact hazard scale asteroid was.... praying - then that thing better hit us square & fair and end that misery. Such a dumb civilization wouldn't deserve any better.
http://www.worldpeacegroup.org/lebanon_peace_project_research.htmlPraying, or meditating, spreads throughout the world. Meditating definitely gives you control over your reality while the instinctive behavior of fear or panic would not. You hear about the city of people who prayed while bombs were dropping all around and wasn't struck by them?

Imagine a world where people all over gather in churches and at home, lighting candles and praying, bracing for impact and at the same time hoping for a miracle, while the asteroid travels toward it.
Would you like to live in that world?

According to the article, "its closest approach to Earth will be at about 217,000 miles", so there is virtually no chance of it hitting us.
