So, in my opinion monero has to be a new bitcoin, but there are small chances to be true. I would prefer to choose such better coins like Ripple, Litecoin, Ethereum, e.t.c.

I don't think that the future of Monero is secure. Earlier, it reached a multi-billion USD market cap because so many of the dark markets were accepting this coin. But now there are a lot of competitors and some of them are even better than Monero.

None coin offers better anonymity as Monero. Reasons for that are technology that Monero have in its protocol and number of people that use it. No other coin is even close to what Monero had accomplished.

Currently, Monero is the 10th largest coin by market capitalization. Crypto miners are attracted to Monero because it has emerged as the most profitable altcoin in the past few months.

A research firm Satis Group, which forecasts the cryptocurrency market and the fate of individual cryptocurrencies, published a reporting stating that Monero could be worth $18,000 within the next five years. That represents a more than an 18,000% increase from its present value, which stands at just over $106.

From"Monero's price: all you need to know"

How do you think about XMP? Another BTC?
Hello! Of course, it's nice to read such predictions. But I have little faith in such a forecast, but just in case I will buy Monero. Anything can happen) Good luck to you!)

Monero is a fairly decentralized and anonymous coin. It has a large number of supporters and a good capitalization. But a high degree of anonymity does not like the regulators, who may, because of this, slow down the development of Monero and not let it go to the official trading platforms.

I like Monero, but I don’t think it will replace Bitcoin. Monero and Bitcoin are different coins. Monero is anonymous. Publicity and transparency are one of the main qualities of Bitcoin.

I've been always a fan of Monero and it can go through the success that bitcoin went through. That's all, this is still an undervalued coin and few talks about it while most of the newbies are choosing those coins that they think are hidden gem but they don't have to go further because such gems can be found on their side and just like Monero.

Over 27400 nodes was found all around the world. It is effeminately one of most decentralized crypto currencies.

About bitcoin, too, at the time a lot of things were said. At the moment, due to just the same attraction of miners from scratch, they have earned a good capitalization, but what will go on is unknown. In fact, if people want, they will mine the same Dash or ZCash

Monero is definitely a good coin but if bitcoin has problems scaling and being adopted by a huge amount of people monero is going to have even greater problems, monero is a specialized coin that only those that are very interested about privacy want, most are OK with bitcoin and the way it deals with its transactions so they do not see a reason to adopt monero.

The Monero is a good coin with great potential and I still keep as a long-term investment but bitcoin has no one to catch up.

seems stupidly exaggerated forecast . Do not believe although Monero has big advantage, it will never be bigger than BTC, because after regulation , exchanges wont want Monero and also most of the worlds economic are not interested in such total privacy coin at all.

I like this currency. Montero is a secure, anonymous and untraceable cryptocurrency that claims to be the main settlement means. However, it cannot replace Bitcoin. He's the king of all currencies.

I don't think monero will become the next bitoin someday, maybe monero will become in top 2 or top3 but in top 1 I don't see they have chances but we will see that in the progress of monero in the next few months and years . But for me the next bitcoin will be Ethereum.

It always said many time and apparently Bitcoin creation is different from the other cryptos which could made it irreplaceable coin. Even though  how strong and productive Monero is, but still there is no chances to take the lead and replace bitcoin.

I think that monero is indeed one of the potential coins for the future but I'm sure that monero will never be able to replace bitcoin. Bitcoin is too strong in the crypto currency. Bitcoin is deeply ingrained in the hearts of people so that bitcoin is difficult to replace with other coins. In my opinion, bitcoin will still be the king of crypto currency forever. Bitcoin has gained public trust and popularity which is very difficult to change so that these other coins are like only bitcoin followers whose prices and future depend on bitcoin. Not to replace bitcoin, including monero.

I don't think monero has what it takes to topple BTC as the king of cryptos, why? Because monero is a privacy coin and a coin that will topple btc must be more transaction friendly in terms of newbie daily transactions, it must have a very high speed and be more profitable to mine.
This will lead to a better adoption and usage.

From $106 as monero's price sometime in September, it is down to $64 as of now. Bitcoin's price is around $3,400. Toppling bitcoin down should show at least a price closer to $2,000. In five years time, still bitcoin is the number cryptocurrency.

BIG WINNER!

In fact, no coin is enough to replace the BTC, which is a strong penny and has a lot of potential in the market so it is not easy to have any new coin that can occupy the position.

I will be extremely difficult for any project digital asset to claim superiority over the almighty Bitcoin. The usability and penetration gathered by Bitcoin over the years has led its dominance and it is for that reason that bitcoin has maintain its status as the number one cryptocurrency. Monero, though a great coin and project, has not completely won over the market just yet and overcoming bitcoin is simply not on the horizon at the moment. The both projects aren't comparable as Bitcoin will always go heads and shoulders over Monero.
