We do not have Kimoto Gravity Well at launch why does everyone keep insinuating that???

Because all the noob devs are doing kgw, its the cool thing to do. Only problem is they are to noob to see there is a time and place for kgw and it is not at launch.
+1 for seeing this dev.

Thanks yeah KGW should only be implemented at the time the coin gains an active exposure based on multipools coming to attack with their ridiculous hash rates which in turn kicks diff up and then leaves everyone holding the bag waiting to solve the block when they jump off when we see that happen or even see popularity growing we will implement either KGW or diff re-targeting every block.

Whatever the community would like us to do at that time we will do but for now this is not being implemented from start as there is no need, and quite frankly we feel is unnecessary

Also everyone bear with us on responses in pm as we are limited to 360 seconds because we opened a new account we will get to them we are just limited on where we can post and how fast we can respond

This post is the reason I'll be switching my 4.3MH/s to this coin when it launches.  KGW should definitely be implemented but not until after the multipools start hitting it.

You do realize multipools are now hitting a lot of scrypt launches, don't you? Get an account at Hashcows and look at the coins they've been mining. They hit SWANSON coin, so i don't think they're discriminating much in hopes for better payouts.

So the site says wallet is delayed and IPO round 2 is still open!

Here you say there is no IPO. Will the wallet be available 30 mins before launch or not?

Site says that. Site also say wallet delayed. Confused lol.

What is real?

Most of the HEX pools i have checked are down or are barely changed from default MPOS config.
Can someone please tell me exact launch time, where and when the wallet is available ? And a stable pool ran by experienced people ?

Too many failcoin launches lately. Very sceptical. hehe.

We missed that page but as our announcement says

We fired the original launch team trying to ask for IPO's for this coin and is now being handled by the dev team. We just want our hard work to go to making this coin launch and succeed! We re-branded it to show more of our coding nature and we hope you like it.

NO IPO NOW !!!! WE TOOK OVER AND WE JUST WANT THIS TO BE CREATED!

We didn't get that off the site from the last guy who was involved before we will remove that now thanks for pointing it out to us

We are just finishing up at our day jobs and will update the site with the right info and have everything clear away from any concerns

Wallets will be avail 30 mins before with password dont worry

Any other pools, other than those listed at the start of the thread participating?  Only a handful appear to be live at this time for pre-registrations, etc.

How do you solo mine? From the wallet or with cgminer or something? How do you set it up using cgminer?

I will start mine this in solo as long Diff stays under 10 Cheesy

Point my 3.5Mhs here and maybe rent some rig!

How do you solo mine? From the wallet or with cgminer or something? How do you set it up using cgminer?

with cgminer pointed to your wallet rpc port... google is your best friend in this case Cheesy you can find many usefull infos online and in this forum!

Is this what I do?

Set this in my conf file:
listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
addnode=54.213.143.65
rpcuser=whatever
rpcpassword=whatever
rpcport=39547

And then in cgminer do -o localhost:39547 -u sameasinconf -p sameasinconf? Or can I use different -u and -p in cgminer bat file?

Thanks for your help!

Edit: Also, what should I call the folder I create in my appdata to put the conf file in?

TenasiousC you could setup a scheduled task to fire off you bat file and stay sleeping.  Then again I wouldn't be able to sleep unless I knew for sure it was all running correctly.

When you do what you said, this is only for 1 PC right ? I mean can i point multiple PC's to one wallet ? And what if they are not on the same network, then what do i put in as IP.
HeisenbergHex.conf for local use:
Quote
listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
addnode=54.213.143.65
rpcuser=walt
rpcpassword=w
rpcport=39547

you can connect multiple rigs just add the rig ip under rpcallowip or put *, on the rigs you wish solo mine put the ip of the pc where the wallet is.
If its outside of your local network use your IP or setup a dyndns...

example if you mine with multiple rig:

- On your PC where you have located your wallet setup a DynDNS (example CHMinePeer.DynDNS.com)
- setup your HeisenbergHex.conf with rpcallowip=* (more secure if you set the IP's)
- make sure to set a solid rpcpassword in your conf!!!!
- forward your rpcport on your router (if set as on example conf: 39547)
- connect your rigs to CHMinePeer.DynDNS.com:39547 -u "rpcuser" -p "rpcpassword"

for more info im sure google and BTCTalk search will help, i never born knowing how to setup my mining equipment, google lernt me!!!

All set and ready to start mining this shit!

Damn stupid launch time, that's 3AM Brussels time, guess i'll have to fucking wake up for this... ow well, guess it will be worth it Smiley

Same problem here in Switzerland... will be a long night today Smiley

Better follow the launch and see what happens instead of blind mine Cheesy

Worked perfectly for me with ZEITcoin. I slept through the coinstart, and later checked the logfiles. Miner switched to the pool at 6:16, which was probably 16 minutes after coinstart.

But of course, it all depends on how clever the pool owner is. How long does he need until he has installed everything.
