yes, there are a lot of hackers who try to blast prices on the exchange and destroy the exchange, because many exchanges are hacked and lose their assets.

Thank God, I have never been a victim of hacking. It is true that hacking can kill the crypto currency market because hackers certainly have thoughts that do not necessarily support crypto currencies, it could be that they would use the hacked coins to destroy the market. Yeah, hopefully hackers don't get large amounts of coins. I have never been a victim of hacking because I am very careful in every transaction that I make, both from my wallet and when on an exchange site. I will only give my coins when I get paid and I always ensure every security feature installed on my wallet or exchange account. Other than that, I don't forget to change passwords regularly to avoid hacking because passwords are easy to guess.

Well, news about hacking cases must have a very bad effect on the price of cryptocurrency. This greatly affects the user's trust and many people will be harmed. Praise God I have never experienced that. I try my best to protect my assets, I only use wallet exchange if trading.

I haven't encountered any hacking activities in my account, I'm aware that exchanges can be infiltrated by hackers, I only transfer my crypto to exchange when I'm about to withdraw if not I let it sit on my desktop wallet

I can say am one of the most favoured man in my little  time in crypto. First, have never been hacked before. I haven't lost any coins also.

However, the only major problem have encountered in my little time here is having to participate in an ICO that later ends up being fraud or scam. It has been my Achilles hill so far.

Hacking is one of the biggest obstacles to the cryptocurrency market.
1- Ever been hacked?
2- Lost your coins in an exchange hacking?
3-Did the exchange pay you back for lost coins?

Please share your story, and give some TIPS on how to avoid being hacked.

I haven't experienced any of them but I could give out some tips. First one would be try to transact big, fast, and rare. Transact big so your frequency of transactions are lessened. Transact fast so you can lessen the time you are online. Transact rarely so you would remain anonymous.

Money is stolen daily. From pockets, from accounts and so on. But still, people keep them (and they will keep) in pots and accounts. Stealing/hacking is NOT a threat to a cryptographic market. Yes, now you can see a fall in the rate after such events, but when the market gets older (by capitalization), such events will have almost no effect.

I lost funds just because of my mistake. I entered private key on a fake ether delta web page and after period of time I lost money.
Also I received then bounty coins on compromised address and hacker was faster than me Angry

well, it's true, even though the indodax market that I think is safe from now on, I feel a lot of people are trying to get into my account even though they are not possible because 2FA security has now been added, but this makes me uncomfortable because there are many people trying to steal
There are many of them not only in the cryptocurrency market, because now there are a very large number of people who are also trying to work with what is called brute force, they are engaged in selecting a password, which today can be very, very easy, beware.

I have never lost my coins or coins. save on myetherwallet and I have never had a problem. maybe I just heard that a market exchanger had been hacked. maybe in the future, it must be safer so that everyone is increasingly interested in entering the crypto world.

If you have very few coins, then of course no one will ever do this intentionally, because the matter is simply not worth it, but if you yourself fall into such a situation that you yourself will give your coins, then it is possible and this is the most dangerous

I have never been hacked, usually you don't use black software or illegal websites, they can't attack you. Hackers can't attack blocks. They usually steal user information and exploit vulnerabilities in the exchange's website.

It seems to me that you very much underestimate the situation in the hacking services market and in general hackers, I probably would not say that, because you can just offend people and they can show what they are. Today there is nothing safe.

I really hate hackers and I've lost a large number of tokens on HITBTC but after I confirmed and included proof, the exchange did't replace the assets I had there

Yes this can be a reason why the crypto is dying all of the other investors that invest the crypto is not leaving due to the investment of them being scam so i hope this will end because it can kill the crypro itself

The hacking of the coin these days is increasing from the every source whether it is your Myetherwallet or the exchange account. Nothing is secure. Also, the hacking from the exchange the coins stolen doesn't recover by the exchange. So, what about the Ledger and Trezor don't know clearly.

one of the reason that could down the market is the hacking especially in big exchanges, if you have online wallet just bookmark it now so that you prevent to login a fake one, double check the URL if it is real site, if you want to start trading go to the big exchanges like binance don't go new exchange.

i never experience being hack since i start in crypto. we should do things to keep are crypto safe. i always withdraw my coins after i traded and never left it exchange sites. even though exchanges site have good review we can't trust them. also i access MEW through metamask instead of accessing it directly.
we can also minimize hacking risk by using guises so that it will be more difficult to hack because there is no data at all. Hacking can be about someone because there are many things including bad luck. but what happens most often is that they access the phishing system so we really have to be careful.

I might agree on you to the idea that hacking might kill cryptocurrency. There are occassions where investors and even bounty hunters did lose a lot due to hacking. A friend of mine was a victim of hacking and he lost several thousands of dollars and it was very hard for him to accept. But to blame the downfall of cryptocurrency just to hacking might be an exaggeration. The lack of usage for a coin kills it. This is the real reason why cryptocurrency falls. Too many investors are just waiting for prices to go up. This will lead to a sudden dumps of coin during times when prices go up which then results to the volatility of the the coin.
