I think this is the result of FUD and the last bitcoin pump on december 2017--real investors probably left or are still burnt by the last bull run. It is also quite possible that whales are purposely influencing the market so they can accumulate more bitcoin at a surplus price.

I think the best reason for dump is market manipulation. Now people understand that big investors will never let them make money from crypto investment. Therefore they are careful about their investment. Everybody wants profit against his investment and if there is no profit, then there is no need for investment. I will never waste my time and money is such place.

Until now bitcoin hasn't fully recovered. There's just still something that stops bitcoin to go full force and reach new peak.

Yeah you are right, I also think the same. Small investors who are that real assets of cryptocurrency left this world because of big investors. They have withdrawn their money because they think that crypto is now not for them. The price has been settled somewhere else and not according to the market capital. When the price increases with the demand and capital invested, it will never drop.

Cryptocurrency traders  uses fundamental analysis in trading on cryptocurrency exchanges , any bad news trigger dump since most traders are filled with fear in trading and also since Crypto is not regulated yet ,any body will want to sell off any time . I think in my own opinion the major cause of the dump is the negative news of the probability of tether be delisted from major exchanges.traders are yet to get a clue.irrespective of that dump can happen for price to pump by whale.

there are so many factors that lead to market dumps, but in my opinion the biggest thing that can cause market dumps is the bad news that hit the crypto world, usually including hacked exchange, rejection of submissions about crypto etc.

The market showed already many times that news are not the reason of dump or pump. They are just distraction ploy. After those news there were several dumps and pumps, without any news background.

Whales need this dump to force people sell crypto at a loss and leave this market. Until most people sell at a loss we will not see the new bull cycle of crypto market. I think 80% of people have already left the market and we need wait the last 10-15% of HODLers will lost faith.

There is no actual dump, its just bear market for 8-9 months now - everything goes slowly down and down...and some of shitcoins will never recover. Crypto is only for strong hands and for those who have actually balls (figure of speech, otherwise ladies can be pretty good traders  ).
