I think the world will eventually have a world government and a world currency. I think this is very far in the future though. Bitcoin has already proven that a global currency can work quite well. It is a lot more convenient when you don't have to worry about exchanging your money for a different currency every time you travel.

I think that might happen and it looks like the USD has also become a global currency that can be used for all countries, but cryptocurrency is currently not available because there are still countries that are interested in the regulation on the use of cryptocurrency.

Could you see a future wherein the entire world shares one global currency, be it fiat or crypto? If I think it in a scifi kind of way, it would most probably be some digital currency that could all just use. It doesn't even have to be in this century. Maybe the next?
the possibility is very difficult to make a global currency because we know the level of the economy of each country must be different if it happens that developing countries will certainly reject because their economic level is equated with developing countries below

I guess you are talking about having one global crypto currency, right? I guess that won't be happening. Since crypto currencies are decentralized and no one has control over it, then there is no one that can stop other crypto currencies from emerging. Why would we need only one global crypto currency any way? I don't see any problem having multi crypto currencies. All of them are global and working fine together.

Yes correct I agreed on you and OP said that use one global currency and I don't think if it is digital currency or a traditional currency. For me, it also won't happen because every state has an era of their place and having a different value of their money in order to have a good trader in every country. On other hands, cryptocurrency also has their own value that alts swinging by the price of Bitcoin, just like that.

Perhaps this will happen sometime, but we certainly won't live in that time to see it. So in general, this is a great idea, because constantly if you travel to other countries, you have to change your country currency for that country currency in which u will travel, and this can be avoided if governments will make a single currency for the whole world.

I think if any currency could do this it would be US dollar. I don't think that any other currency that is younger than dollar can't do this soon.

There are countries that still didn't accept it's use. If they open in idea of having decentralized currency it will only matter on how the government can handle it besides having fiat. But it will be a good thing if we have it.

US Dollar already be global currency and its controlled by The Fed. I think its hard for cryptocurrency even for bitcoin to replace dollar domination in global transaction. Central banks wont lose control on money supply but i am optimistic that bitcoin or others cryptocurrency will be used for payment in near future

If in the future the cryptocurrency will be accepted by most countries or nations , but there would be no chance that there will be one global currency, because its country would create their own currency also aside from the existing cryptos , it is likely to run the same with fiat currency , in which each nations has also its own fiat currency, so there is only a little chance, but the door is still open for this.

Bitcoin is probably the easiest coin to succeed, but it needs the rise of other encrypted coins to push Bitcoin. The future of Bitcoin is a huge payment. In addition, the Chinese renminbi can be realized. But definitely not the dollar. The US dollar strategy has been plundering the world for nearly 100 years and is rapidly declining.

I think cryptocurrency is acting now as one global currency but as of now, this currency is not intended for paying bills because people treat this as an asset to them which is they hold for a long-term and expecting to have a huge profit on this. Yes, a global currency but this is not like fiat that every people use to pay their bills.

yes of course that can happen but to be able to become a global currency it takes a very long time and certainly it requires clear rules for the use of cryptocurrency, while fiat like the USD I see is acceptable and is often used for several countries.

One currency for all the countries in the world is impossible to happen. Each country sets their currency so that the government can control economy. And every government has their own rules, regulations, and strategy in running the economy. So, one currency is far from reality.

I think, it's difficult to implement. every country has sovereignty over its own country including in financial matters. it is unfair for some countries, because it will benefit only one country. every country has the right to determine monetary policy to control the country's economy. it will be difficult if you use one single world currency because the impact will apply to all countries in the world. it will cause economic chaos in various countries.

I think there is a possibility there will be one global currency, because the world is always making changes. Cryptocurrency is likely to be the answer as a global currency that will be used in the future.

Crypto doesn't have any chance to become global currency in this century since the people's ties with traditional fiat money are too close. All banking systems with millions of their transactions are bound to fiats, these systems have become convenient and familiar to so many customers that I wonder what could make them shift to crypto? Anyway, if this happens it will take many decades - I don't think I will witness the victory march of cryptocurrencies during my lifetime.

The world has one global currency, I think it's impossible. To make everyone have the same thought is impossible, and surely there will always be those who oppose or support, and it will be difficult to make one global currency.
Dollars has much power than bitcoins open the chart now and see where is bitcoin is now. Market is down. Peoples deals with dollars not with bitcoins. I am not against bitcoin i love it but its hard for bitcoin. That much is obvious, the US dollar is the strongest currency around the world but that is not going to last forever, we had strong currencies that seemed impossible to replace in the past and they were replaced and when there is something as good as bitcoin waiting in the sidelines just waiting for an opportunity to grow then I will not be so confident this state of affairs is going to last for long.
