Looking at the altcoins markets lately, the price within short time from listing on an exchange falls drastically below the ICO prices leaving the investors at loss for over a long period of time. Some ICO projects find it extremely difficult to recuperate from such loss of value.
Some project now take a caution which is believed to help the investors makes some earnings before the dumpers spoil the market. They now lock down the bounty and airdrop earnings for some period of time. This is aimed at stabilizing the market for such token before the activities of dumpers which are believed to be mainly the bounty and airdrop hunters.

Bounty hunters can influence the course of the asset if there is no demand for this asset. If there is a demand in exchanges, it will very quickly swallow sales of bounty hunters. It is necessary not to lock the asset, but to develop the project. Or do not go to the exchange too early Grin.

The truth is that it is not the dumpers fault at all
XYO project locked down and refused to send bounty and Airdrop rewards to prevent a dump
But guess what , their token got dumped upon listing on exchange

Only a good project can recover from low market values

This won't make the situation any better, only slowing it down. As long as they're paying a huge amount of bounty in their token, instead of BTC or ETH, their coin will get dumped immediately. Kinda funny seeing those ICO team complaining about dumping when they are the one who's responsible for that. If they really care about their token price, don't pay bounty using their token. Instead, use BTC, ETH, or any other major altcoins. It's even funnier to see people who invest in such ICO.

Bounty hunters are not the only problem here. Early investors can also dump the price if they don't believe in the project or their sole intention is making money fast. If the ICO is designed to quickly make some bucks and the project has no long term usability, then they deserve what they are getting. There is no way around this problem I'm afraid.

I think a lock up may be ok and should be considered by the bounty hunters as a way to help out the ICO's.  I do think they coins should be distributed to our wallets with a unlock date set in the contract.  This would help easy hunters minds.  If both sides work together we could all profit.  There is to much rivalry between projects and hunters.  The projects appear to really dislike hunters and I believe this causes some of the larger issues.

Well, this is so true. We can't always blame the bounty hunters.
I do believe the dev of early investors also dump the tokens to the markets.

The real problem is so many icos have offered a lot of bonus to the investors, there are some icos were even offering more than 50% bonus on the presale and private sale and this could be a wrong way that created to many fear about the price of ico after it will be listed on the exchange site.

I dont believe that bounty hunter and airdrop are the major problem when token price get dumped. so, it's better to new ICO project can make investor believe in that project. team can try to get listed in big exchanges. maybe its on of the solution. other solution is :

If they really care about their token price, don't pay bounty using their token. Instead, use BTC, ETH, or any other major altcoins.
but, untill today, I still cant understand why ICO team give so much coin or token with airdrop campaign wih huge amount of their token, up to 2M - 50M token.

Why everyone blame bounty hunters as the dumpers?

That is what they are doing now, locking down the bounties of the bounty earners and holding it until the price of their coins are doing badly before they pay out the coins, I understand why they are doing it as they are trying to make sure that their coins does well but it is unfair but we hunters just let it slid, they promise to pay out after thirty days but we wait months for our payments.

I think not only dumpers there are some other major issues which cause a coin to dump or down like BTC decreasing trend, poor or low volume exchange and project is not healthy or scam.

The concept of lock down does sound interesting a. at the same time we do need to come up with better ICO projects that will give sustainability for the long run as well.

I think that is the wisest decission that the team project could take.
If they list now, they will lost all the investors and blame them for the investor's lost.
So, we just have to wait until the market recover and even it won't, that's already our risk to invest in ICO
