it's not an easy task because such people hardly understand tech definitions and it takes a lot of time to describe them in an easy way.

It's really difficult for non Tech persons to comprehend crypto. The whole thing will sound Greek to them initially, but with time they comprehend. Everyone started as a noob, but with time he or she will come to understand everything about cryptographic currencies and the blockchain.

I love the way how easily can I confuse someone in a minute when he has to think outside his box  Grin. Some of them are rejecting it entirely, and that is okay, we fear things we do not know very well. I could not think that someine has created a sort of value just because youcan freely transfer 10 bucks to your friend while you have bank accounts and money in your pocket- who would make these processes more difficult and why would I like to use in any manner? Yeah, I was a dummy not capable of stepping out of my bubble. Now I see things in a very different way and for this reason I know how I would like to explain everything to anyone who is willing to hear me. And when I see that tiny sparkle of rebellion in their eyes, that is the time when the show is getting started  Grin.

Well, actually to be involved in crypto world, there is not only for the person who knows about technology. I personally am not a tech person. But, when a friend told me about the cyrpto world and I started learning, I can enter in this crypto world easily. This is about the way and desire to learn something. prove with your work and result and tell them simply.

Really, if the person is not willing to try to understand and have the time, it will be difficult! People who come to me to talk about cryptocurrencies are usually behind quick profit and more than half of these people think that 'fiat' interest is generated through cryptos! I try to explain that some projects are a way to send and receive without tracking governments or third parties. Wink

Explaining blockchain with simple words helps to understand. I usually talk about advantages of blockchain compared to traditional system so op will understand what i am talking about. I apply the kiss rule when non-tech person can't get my point: Keep it simple stupid.

This is very difficult, because it takes a lot of time to explain to people who don't understand technology, and have to show evidence to people who don't understand technology, so by showing evidence on the computer how bitcoin works. So I think they will understand little by little.

When a guy is stupid while hearing crypto terms from us, don't try to be more nice to him or them. The opportunity that we share from crypto is priceless, and in fact many people these days were really innocent for that informations regarding blockchain technology. Even thus technical people, I don't think in general that it's easy for them to acquire knowledge when they don't even have the desire of listening. Without the absorption from mentorship, gaining skills and knowledge is worthless.

I love the looks i get when i try to explain crypto to a non tech person! How do you guys deal with situations like these?

I'm just laughing at them whenever they say already that it was scam and just intended to scam people out there not knowing I can earn profit from work here on bounty. Their minds are quite close.

For me, it depends on the person. If the person is interested on the cryptocurrency and how it works, maybe I spend more time to him or her explaining the whole concept. But if I feel that the person was really not interested? I would make an exit automatically.

Event the tech guys doesn't have any idea about crypto, this happened recently when I met a friend of mine working at an IT firm. On random conversation we came to the technology conversation, by that time fortunately I spoke about the blockchain technology. He didn't had any idea regarding the same. After long days around few weeks back he called and said their IT firm has begun to teach them about blockchain for future projects. So right now very few tech people are aware of crypto, in this time non tech people won't be much into it.

It strange, but I should agree with you. I have many friends which work in IT industry and many of them don't know anything about crypto. I like to invite people to crypto area so I always try to explain as easy as I could at first look. Some of my "students" have become my partners, but many of them still believe that crypto is something fraudulent.

I tried this a couple of times at work but they all laughed at me but hei I tried at least. For example go and speak about blockchain in front of any simple shop...they will think you want to scam them or they think you promote it and you paid..so I gave up, they do not need help they do not want help. This people will always belive in banks and fiat...

I think its difficult till now because real utility at mass level is not actually right one.right one you can teach somebody from investment point of view. And if that person get good return then he may try to learnt more. The onus is on crypto leader to show their real utility to world

It is understandable that a non tech person do not understand about crypto, just be patient to them. I am very much willing to share as long as the person is willing to know. The worst thing that can happen is the person want to know about crypto but refused to listen with an open mind.

When I talk about crypto with a friend. He knows nothing about technology, crypto , blockchain . He told me it was a scam and ponzi. I was surprised to hear him say that. I asked him why he said that. He told me that crypto is not money and it really has no value in the world.
