If your analysis is telling you that bitcoin can reach 18000 dollars before the end of this year then the only thing that I can say to you is that you should probably review your system of predictions, because it is very unlikely that we are going to see such a price before the end of the year, there is a chance that we could see it in 2019 but a safer choice will be 2020.

There is a big difference between being positive and denying the reality that is just right in front of you, I also believe that we're going to see the price of 18000 at some point in the future, probably in a few years, but if you think the price is going to skyrocket again at the end of the year then you are going to be disappointed because it's not going to happen.

Why would the price suddenly almost triple. We'll soon be coming out of the bear market but that doesn't mean its suddenly gonna jump straight into the next mania phase. Look at the last long crash-boom cycle from 2014 - 2017. That is a model to follow now. The previous cycles were short because it was a much smaller market. Now we are looking at cycles that next a few years (granted the last one was elongated due to Mt.Gox). The price of Bitcoin didn't suddenly jump from $200 to $600 in the summer of 2015 when the market was making its turnaround from bear to bull. It slowly turned around forming a long term cup shape. And that is what we are starting to see now, we are reaching the end of the downward cup shape, with the line of the cup now near the bottom and starting to go horizontal meaning the shift from bear to bull market will be happening this Fall most likely. But absent any groundbreaking news that also means we won't see any crazy fluctuations as the bull pressure slowly starts to outpace the bear pressure.

If anything the price will be more stable than normal the next few months as we complete this reversal from bear market to bull market, not having a crazy 3x jump to almost ATH all of a sudden.

By end of year I'd say look for the turnaround of the market, a clear sign of which will be if Bitcoin breaks significantly above $7400, which was the most recent of the lower highs of this bear market. Breaking that won't mean we are necessarily in the bull market, but it would be a clear indication that at the very least we are in the turnaround, keeping in a channel in the 6 and 7 thousands until the turnaround is complete and price starts going up again. At worst I'd expect this turnaround to take the rest of the year and we won't see the price start going up out of the 6-7 thousand range until beginning of next year. But its also possibly the turnaround only last a couple months and we could see a break into the 8000s by end of year, even perhaps hitting a temporary high over 9000 before year's end. But the key thing is the turnaround of the market is a slow process because it is when the pressures of the various interests even out and then turn back positive, which is slow and it should take months - we very well could be a few weeks into it already though!

Basically expect to perhaps see the first higher high (above $7500) of the year before the year is out. If we get a second higher high after a correction by early next year then that will be a clear sign we are back in the bull market and now just banging around the bottom of the market. Expect next year to be like 2016, long relatively slow "non-boom" like growth heading back up towards the ATH. It's possible we see Bitcoin break $20k by end of 2019. Then 2020 will likely be the next boom year like 2017, 2013, 2011, but more like 2017 than the others because now the cycles last longer and as we saw last year the boom can take much of the year (basically went from beginning of May to mid December).

$100k in 2020 could very well be possible, before the next crash. $20k in 2019 might happen. $8k by the end of this year might happen. Don't expect any crazy stuff to happen in the next few months, this is when forces are evening out and the price will probably be more stable than it will be for the next few years until the next bottoming out maybe 3 or 4 years from now.

As to me, I don't think that bitcoin loses trust right now. In fact, I'm more inclined to think that it gains trust as we see almost all altcoins crash while bitcoin is rock solid. What could it be if not accumulating trust? Indeed, there will be a lot of resistance on the way up, and 18k or anywhere around that figure looks unreachable for the time being. But we don't need to get there in less than no time as we need more stable prices probably coupled with slow, organic growth representing real value other than the speculative one. This is the only way in which long-term trust can be established.

I don't think so that Bitcoin can reach $18,000 mark this year because the price of Bitcoin is very down from very long time and demand of Bitcoin has also falling down.The Bitcoin market is also decreasing because the prices are not increasing.Investment in bitcoin has also fallen because it is not able to give decent amount of profit returns.Some countries have also banned Bitcoin due to its volatility and decentralised nature.People are selling their Bitcoins at very low prices.

If there would be a hype again then that price would be reachable. Current price would need to increase thrice before that target of yours will be reach. Well, I am hoping for it as well but let's be realistic in here and if you want to increase your holdings then trade and then take profit even if it's just a little because you are not on;y gaining profit when you are doing it but you can have the experience as well may it be profit or loss and you can improve your trading. I think it would be better than wishing for the price to go back up and then be frustrated when it's taking so long.
