ArtByte is used all over the world, it is not a country coin. Our forum shows many ways to get ArtBytes.

With this being an "art" coin.. that flyer must have been designed with a heavy sense of irony?

We are not seeing it anywhere else. Just leave it syncing in the background. You are very close to full sync. According to http://explorer.artbyte.me/blocks the latest block is 964992.

The ArtByte Foundation does not sell ABY. You can buy it on these exchanges:

    Bittrex (BTC/ABY): https://bittrex.com/Market/Index?MarketName=BTC-ABY
    LiteBit.eu (EUR/ABY, BTC/ABY): https://www.litebit.eu/nl/kopen/artbyte
    Cryptopia (NZ) https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Exchange/?market=ABY_BTC

All of ArtByte's services are up and running. Best way to keep up to date is on the forum: http://forum.artbyte.me

On December 24 Yobit told the wallet online. And I initiated  transaction 15357 ABY with Yobit to Bittrex.

I send many tickets to Yobit support and PM to Yobit admins Dominikherzog, Matveevka, Warden. No answer, no results.

Can you post your screen this Yobit form? I need that to inform payment systems (Payeer, PM, etc.) to block Yobit.

Here is the proof that yobit is a scam.  I am glad if i can help others not to lose theyr coins. But who can help us to recover ours ?
I think that ABY dev should make pressure to yobit to update the wallet.

Yobit has still never responded to any of our emails. It has been since November. We have posted here and on the forum not to use them for trading ArtByte. We also asked Coinmarketcap and Coingecko to remove them from our exchange listing which they did.

You can keep up with the latest on our forum: http://forum.artbyte.me

The ArtByte Foundation is pleased to sponsor the Decentralized Art Show in Miami this Friday, January 19th.

The Decentralized Art Show is a place for artists to show their work and learn how to sell it for cryptocurrency. The show is held in conjunction with the Bitcoin conference in Miami on Jan.18th & 19th. Artists at the show will be able to sell their work for either ArtByte or Bitcoin.

In addition to the live event in Miami, the art show will be filmed in 3D, allowing art fans around the world to experience the show in VR and purchase the art works.

If you are in Miami this weekend, please stop by the show!

https://www.decentralizedartshows.com/
Wow, interesting event. I dont live in Miami, hence I can not stop by to join this one. However, this is good signal that crypto products/ projects can be brought to daily activities of our society.

i am still confused whether it's a mistake from the system or network error
but which obviously we wait for confirmation from the developer

the problem is yobit team, they don`t want to update the wallet.
You probably ask yourself why? if people trade there, they gain from fee, but if your coins are frozen while withdrawing, they can take your coins and trade them. It is a simple task to update a wallet and add some nodes. That`s way they don`t respond to tickets either.
To many exchanges these days freeze wallets, so be aware what are you trading and where you trade it.
