Too many speculators in the cryptospace?

I think most of the people who joint the crypto community do it to make some money, so speculations in different coins are huge. But the average crypto owner with a few thousand dollars worth of crypto can't move the market. I think there are heavy manipulators in the crypto markets of small handful of whales.

It is their good place to play . When professional investors decide on which assets to hold, they look at the return and the volatility. Only investors  with a healhy appetite for risk are willing to invest in an investment that risky and volatile. I think high volatility is still okay for us who really loyal to bitcoin. Speculators who afraid and leave bitcoin in incorrect time will lose much money.

Well i agree that in this crypto world we have many speculations about prices , BTC or whatever other topics and it will continue to exist for a long time.The problem is that it can appear wrong predictions and the ones how are new on this forum can be easily tricked, so don't believe every speculation that you see on different threads.

Speculations bring market movement though so there's nothing anyone can do about that. Just like in real life. It now just depends on the the person listening if they'll allow these speculations to turn their judgements.

speculations are arent unreal so why people believe them  ?  i dont believe on pure speculation but i only believe on legit news that has a real source  . im sure other were also like me, thats why i dont think that speculation alone can make the price move  .  the real reason on why price fluctuate is because of manipulators such as whales  . 

But there are still many people who do not understand how to invest properly and they feel lazy to do research, and this is what makes many people more trust in speculators and news where sometimes the reality is very different.

In any economy, the first factor is profit. in crypto, too, one of them is profit. all invest in order to get a high income, if everything is viewed in this perspective, then all speculators ..?!

there are many speculators in all areas of our life and cryptospace is not an exception. people want to earn money and bitcoin gave them such opportunity.

it has become natural if in the world of cryptocurrency there are many people who speculate because they see from price movements and graphs that occur, many people think that cryptocurrency can be predicted even if they only predict and without contributing like buying then the price will not have movement, so it should be able to be balanced with contributions as traders or coin movers.

Yes,  I agree with OP regarding the subject wherein most of people are here in the cryptocurrency to earn fast profit and that is why they are more of a speculator.  I don't know if speculation can really make the crypto market improve and could encourage also to new IP to invest in cryptocurrency. 

Actually, speculators somehow dictates the trend of the market. They are one of the major factors aside from the government and rules to be implemented on the system usage. On other countries that accepts bitcoin as mode of payment has its speculators to make it happen. In conclusion, they are essential in the community because they are one of the factors of adoption of government thay may help bitcoin to grow even more.

I think for now anyone can be a speculator ? I think you often see every user expressing their own opinions and predictions about the market. either using what analysis. but they express their predictions to the public. and sometimes it affects several users

Speculations works in some area in cryptocurrency world ,I own two coins that I heard of through speculations and they are very good projects ,one of them is Apollo currency which is growing higher in price even in this bad market condition ,speculations will always exits and no one can stop it I just think its needed

I think speculators has a great impact in cryptospace because they gather a lot of demands if they speculate positively. Cryptospace needs speculators for liquidity. It is the basis of many people in crypto world specially those traders.

Any investment we made is a speculation. Like we investing in stocks market, its speculation. But investing in cryptomarket is more risky because there is no regulation. Its true that many people speculate in cryptomarket but i think its very usual

I still think that only small investors participate in the discussions that we can see on the forums, on twitter and in the telegram groups. Indeed, most of them are speculators. But it is quite justified. After all, our whole life, the solution to all problems, in most cases rests on the money issue. Therefore, most people consider crypto currency as an opportunity to somehow improve the quality of their life. I believe that no one has the moral right to accuse them of this desire.

I think that some of the small investors and many medium and large investors simply accumulate some cryptocurrencies.

As for the impact on volatility, it is primarily provided by large investors, who, based on their plans, are pushing the price in the right for them direction. And small investors simply pick up the trend, since most of them are hostages of the situation, they just dream to improve quality of life  their family ...

I think the real investors are still supporting long term projects and that is why we still Eth, Eos , Xrp and etc in the top spot of coinmarketcap. The others projects are really just a way to make quick profits. It can be pumped exaggeratedly but after that it is going to die.

Unfortunately, this reality is not only the cryptocurrency market! Even in Fiat there are speculators who are eager to make money on inexperienced traders.

Cryptocurrency speculators play a positive and negative role. They actually gave the current fame cryptocurrency. They drew attention to it and interested the majority of the masses to engage in cryptocurrency, in particular, trade in it. Yes, it is speculators who are guilty of the fact that Bitcoin soared in price to $ 20,000 at the end of 2017, and we are still in a bear market. However, due to the fact that then Bitcoin soared in price, the whole world started talking about it.
However, on the other hand, it was speculators that led the states to very poorly legalize cryptocurrency, considering it a bubble and a too risky investment. Entering in the world of crypto is no other purpose its to earned profits. In this field you have a lot options to put investment because theres a lot of altcoins that you can do buy and selll. You can easily earn more profits, if you already knew how to play in the market, but the more risks involved as well. For me, speculators are always there because they're the one who makes confused to some investors.

You're right on this but the question is, how can we eliminate such trend within crypto? About 90% of crypto users are in for the profit and not to support the idea of the project till the end of time and this has been one of the factors contributing to the collapse of most projects after listing on the market.

But speculating also doing some good things to the cryptocurrencies it doesn't let the crypto today which are speculated by many of the investors,so people who are doing right things will get profits,if they just follow others meams they are going to face losses.

Speculators give an impact on the market and without them I don't think the market will be like today. After all, we don't know what will happen to prices in the future and that's why we can consider most traders are speculators. And if we just watch the market without doing anything, we will get nothing!

Speculation certainly triggers people to buy or even sell cryptocurrency. Especially if an influential person in the world of cryptocurrency is talking. speculation is indeed the way that has been applied to the crypto world. it is not wrong to speculate, but all decisions are back to each person. The point is crypto cannot be predicted I guess.

That is what happens in the crypto space and you don't have to listen to the speculators because all they want is only how to get your money and leave you with empty money. Don't accept what they said and only makes your research about the situations that happen in the market and on the news and better you search the other news so you can know what is going on with the crypto.
