bitcoin was born in Asia and the majority of users are also Asians. Is it true that the majority of bitcoin holders are Asians. anyone can tell me
as we can see japan, Despite being home to the two largest cryptocurrency heists in history totaling nearly a billion dollars and a traditionally conservative financial tendency the Japanese market is still enthusiastic about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. In April of 2017, the Japanese government became the first to amend their banking act to recognize cryptocurrencies as both methods of payment and asset holdings.

Crypto users in Asia are also not inferior to Europe that holds a lot of bitcoin. We know together that the Nakamoto Satoshi who created Bitcoin came from Asia, namely from Japan, so that Asia should not be underestimated by countries in the European continent. and America without being from Asia other countries cannot know about bitcoin, therefore many are interested in bitcoin because bitcoin has a good future even this is called new technology which is growing in the wider community in the world.
We don't know Satoshi came from Japan just because he chose a Japanese sounding screen name. From an analysis of his posts on this forum, it is most likely he is a native English speaker, possibly from one of the commonwealth countries based on his spelling of certain words. There's actually no evidence I'm aware of that suggests Satoshi is actually Japanese or of any Asian descent. Further, Satoshi's nationality isn't and shouldn't be a factor about what nationality is "best" for Bitcoin, and the question itself is kind of stupid. Absolute number of owners is at least a question that can be answered, although I'm not sure for what purpose it would matter.

Since Asia is very populated continent, maybe this one is true but we cannot say that we owned a huge volume of bitcoin because of the rich person from Europe and America. Bitcoin is from Asia but it doesn’t mean everyone use this, it looks like European country and America are more open about cryptocurrency than Asian countries.

But i do agree that many asians are bitcoin holder not speculator afaik bitcoin is made in the u.s because inventor satoshi nakamoto is from the u.s though at first glance you can notice that his name is kinda japanese or chinese but it is actually a code name of a single person or maybe a group of people to hide his/thier identity from the public , so that they could avoid any threats . most asian countries do also now legalize and use bitcoin and other cryptos but i guess asian country is not the leading when it comes to bitcoins hodlers .

I believe that no one knows whether Asians are the most bitcoin holders in the world or not because bitcoin is anonymous. And how do you know Satoshi is Asian??

I think there is no data about that? cmiiw. I think the most bitcoin holders is in Asia especially China, USA and Russia, in my country here Indonesia, i'm sure the bitcoin holders here is more less than China bitcoin holders. Even bitcoin made by satoshi, but that is not means the majority of users will be also Asians.

maybe what he meant was satoshi nakamoto as the pioneer of the creation of bitcoin. that might be the argument for him. because sathosi is Japanese. that's my opinion Then who told you that Satoshi Nakamoto is Japanese?Just because the name sounds like one? Theres no proof about the nationality of the cryptocurrency founder and so as all the bitcoin holder the whole world so stop assuming about we know everything because the truth is only the person involved is the witnesses and its not us Though asian is a big continent it doesn't mean we hold the majority of the said coin, but for me personally theres a big possibility because japan’s adaption of bitcoin is one proof of how large the market in asia

bank transactions are proof that bitcoin is mostly used in Asia but I doubt that Satoshi Nakamoto even cares; Bitcoin is a worldwide currency anyway so regardless of your country or wherever you are as long as you have a connection then you're good to go.

Most of the government in asia are allowing their own people to invest on cryptocurrency because they knew that it can actually improve their own country since people can pay taxes easily in that way.

Bitcoin was born in Asia? That is debatable. We still don't know about the real identity of Satoshi Nakamoto. There is a chance that he is Japanese, as his nickname hints, but there is no proof.

Yes from my personal experience Asia is much more accepting of cryptocurrency than other countries. Especially in Japan where a large number of citizens hold some bitcoin.
Maybe,Asians are the most bitcoin holders in the world is true.Eventhough China is against bitcoin flow and cryptocurrency. Most of the people in China had involved in trading and Mining. Because cryptocurrency related business is most profitable one. Actually I accept your point about Japanese involvement in cryptocurrency. Its true i belongs to aisa's country where most of my relative and friends are aware about bitcoins. Whenever i go we discuss about bitcoin i am wonder how people of my country are aware and we're using this cryptocurrencies more than fiat.

Even though it was created by "Satoshi Nakamoto" they said. But, it could be an surname or just a nickname of someone that they don't want to leak their information to the public and it doesn't mean they are asian based on their name. That's irrelevant in this case.

Stop deceiving yourself mate! No one knows exactly where Satoshi Nakamoto originated from and there is so much, revolving around the speculation of the real identity of Satoshi Nakamoto with some believing it is even a group even though it has an Asian meaning. Nonetheless, let's even assume the creator of bitcoin is from Asia, what certainty do you have that Asians are the majority when it comes to bitcoin holding ? Well, if we are to look at it from the trading volume perspective daily, we might give it to Asia, but in reality, this does not necessarily mean they are the most holders. Blockchain technology nor bitcoin does not provide/keep any geographical information from both bitcoin holders and miners. Hence, no one could estimate who holds how much geographically.

Is there really a way to tell where the majority of bitcoin holders reside? I don't think so. Bitcoin doesn't know nor care about nationality, country, religion, continent... It is a universal borderless currency. Maybe there are indirect ways to correlate users with countries, but that would be very hard to do accurately.
What do you mean by bitcoin was born in Asia? Because of the name Satoshi Nakamoto or do you have some other argument?
maybe what he meant was satoshi nakamoto as the pioneer of the creation of bitcoin. that might be the argument for him. because sathosi is Japanese. that's my opinion So? Let's say Nakamoto is Japanese but he/she/they plan and made bitcoin in other country? I think this argument is useless since it doesn't matter in any bit. And certainly, nobody can exactly point out that Asian is the biggest holder of bitcoin since the address is the only way and it's anonymous. Even someone here says that majority of transactions were been made in Asia, still isn't appropriate. So what if American 1 and European 1 resides somewhere in Asia, do we can still conclude that?

bitcoin was born in Asia and the majority of users are also Asians. Is it true that the majority of bitcoin holders are Asians. anyone can tell me
First of all bitcoin was not born in Asia, just because its creator is called Satoshi Nakamoto does not make it Asian, besides bitcoin is supposed to be decentralized and spreaded around the world, however it is true that a great percentage of the the individuals that are using bitcoin at this time are mostly Asian, not that we are able to identify the source of transactions and what country are they are coming from, but a lot of people and businesses are supporting it and a lot of investments have gone into it more than any part of the world, for example if you go to japan you will find more restaurants or shops that accept bitcoin than you will find in the US, as for holding i would pretty much think that the majority of holders are not from Asia, there is no way to tell so but as i was saying, people who are able to spend their bitcoin more will probably be holding less than the people who don't have anywhere to spend it on, as the case in the US and in Canada.
