There is over 300 mil generated by miners (24h) which is worth apprx 18 BTC. I feel like mintpal came much to soon before this coin gained more support that would overhype mintpal.

Which exchanges are the next ones in line and how soon? I have not done anything but help this coin so far. Have invested a lot because I believe that this coin maybe the first low market cap alt coins to spark merchant adoption. Something that has led me through the bs of WDC/QRK/UTC/ASR.

In addition with the interest rate it will be a forget and hold.

What i can think of that this coin needs is real exposure. I wouldn't use the term social marketing because none of us would want to support something that wont make new investors money. And understand, once people start making money they dont stop talking about it. Two UTC or QRK fanboys who make cash on ECC can turn trollboxes into cult followings.

everyone rational here agrees that this coin has had a perfect launch along with never before seen levels of PR on legitimate news sources. However the fact remains that this coin's movement will be dictated by miners for the next few weeks unless we get a lot of buying power.

I hope buying power may come from China - what is that status on that? Not much volume in those exchanges?

Guys why worry this much look at those stats history of other similars at mintpal, see what happened those cryptos and when,  the coin will not rise before 2-3 weeks... This was true for others i don't know for ECC timeline. We will see.

The hashrate dipped?  

Oh, it did come down some! I sure wish it would drop some more.

The hashrate lower than this when the price of ECC was climbing. Then the price started dropping while the hash rate was still high. It sure looks like the hash rate is following the price, not the other way around.

What about pressure from Europe/North America?

We have increasing our ads power in China, our latest exchange did good yesterday, was making giveaways and i cared with miners there on QQ chat. The only issue that exchange is new one and we need bigger one like bter or btc38. So we push hard those two.

Europe/North is good markets, seems they will join the party little later. Our launch was done USA peak time. So we did not had enough attention from europe. Was 5-6 am in the morning launch happened.
 
 Probably when our multi pool is on and our cluster nodes happily servicing at that zones. They will enjoy. I can see potential there...

One whale can do it alone it cost about 1.8 BTC for 1000 BTC volume if you deduct service costs... If he put enough money there he would want to spend this... See it's free advertisement... Very effective.
