If you are given a chance to lead your country for 24 hours, what change will you bring in?
For me I will slash down the salaries of our political leaders because I have come to understand that people turned politics to do or die affairs because it involved so much money.They kill people any how just to get one position or the other but if the money involved is like what one can get from any other job appointment or business I think it will reduce the rate of blood shedding as a result of political appointment or position.
So my great minds what your own point of view?

I would declare all the dept of our nation illegal of course, since it is I would make fractional reserve lending illegal, and remove investments banks possibilities to invest 30 x their own capital.
This would give us a very large budget increase which would go to healthcare and education. I would drop the military completely along with many laws that prevent e.g addicts to get help without risks of being prosecuted and forced to pay a fine. This gives another huge budget increase that could be used to improve nuclear power and secure our energy supply against the will of oil companies and big money. We could use the money for more healthcare for veterans and the old and fight child diseases.

I would not slash politicians salaries, I would remove the corrupt excuse we call democracy and start having a block chain for running the voting in important questions, in which everyone can participate, so we no longer need to trust a few greedy bastards to do what is in our best interest. More money towards society <3

There is so much that needs to be changed, I would tax meat since it wastes away water and soils, I would make importing food harder and focus on local improvements in agriculture to save the environment further.

I would enforce our rights to speak and print what ever we like, i would ban fake news and censorship. This might make life a bit more fair, but there is still more the change

1. No donations worth more than 50 pounds or bucks..That way no bribes from big companies..

2. See bank accounts of MPs for 10 years after they leave office ..That way no hiding kickbacks and bribes ..

3. No second job while you serve in office ..That way you cannot say you earned shady cash from your second job because you should be busy with the job the people give you only..

4.No family member can go in office until 100 years after you leave so no keeping the power in the family..

5.I think we should have some type of bonus for our leaders to get if they been a good leader and the people would vote to see if they get it or not..
We would say your 2 million pound bonus is gone because you was rubbish BUT gives them an incentive to be good and honest for the bonus..
BUT the people must decide if they get it or not..

6. After serving your people we would give you a bonus and a nice clock then say bye and you should have no more say ever again..
Not like TONY BLAIR and CRONIES  still going on and on even though they are out and we hate them..Just leave and go ..

If I would given chance to lead my country, the things that I would be changing is first the system of government we have, I want our country to be a federal type as it would help all the regions to develop equally. Also, I would also want to have a strict qualifications in getting into a position inthe government as all of them should have a good education and should know something about how government works  This are the things I want the changr that is for the good of the country I would serve wholeheartedly.

If I had the possibility to change a countries politics/government setup, I would start with the premise that all things oscillate, we have waves of ups and downs.. so I would start by having 12 people represent the head of government which sit in power for 2 years..A person is voted into this position, and anybody not living up to their civic duties would be replaced until the time which it moves to the next person in rotation.

Each one representing a specialism and 80% of all government funding for the next 2 years.

A rough example might be:

I want to change teaching methods at schools. It is too constrained, no activity, no flexibility, no boredom, and no practical experience.
I want to change the administrative apparatus, excessive procedures unnecessary.

1. Slashed the salary to the barest minimal of the so-called politicians
2. Removal of all the attached allowances such as furniture allowance, News prints allowance etc

I'm a person who living in a developing country. Our country has been distroyed by the two mainstream political parties whose already governing the country more than 70 years.

If I get a chance to lead my country I would like to see the following policy changes.

• Education system to be upgraded with the latest available knowledge and creating a national policy which shouldn't change with the ruling government.
• Public transportation to be developed and encourage the people to use vehicles which use renewable energy
• Starting low interest loan schemes for entrepreneurs and get them involved in the countries economy
• Increasing the efficiency of government sector with the introduction of new technology to the government officials. People don't need to come to the capital city to just fill the forms and get their works to be done
• Most importantly I will put minimum educational qualification for politicians to enter the political arena. Because law makers in our country act like tea makers
• I will introduce strong law enforcement against corruption and establish independent commissions where necessary like election commission, bribary commission, police commission etc...
• I will make policies to encourage the people to use products which produced by our own country while gradually demotivating the import products within the country. Because we are currently spending most of the our country's money just to export items which actually didn't necessary and already made within our country
• Signing free trade agreement with neighbor countries, but that doesn't mean we are selling away our lands to them

Those are the few immediate action which I'm hoping to implement if I got the power to run my motherland.

If I have the chance to lead my country(Nigeria), I will start by cutting down the salaries and allowances of the National Assembly which run into millions  of naira and increase minimum wage of civil servant which is currently eighteen thousand.  I will ensure that those in leadership positions get their medical care in the country so that the health section will be well equipped for both the rich and the poor.

it would be cigarettes. I would stop production because they are very dangerous to your health and mind. Before cigars were considered cool and were all over the place including television and movies, but now we know it for the disgusting habit it really is. Side effects to smoking are lung cancer and many other sicknesses and getting rid of them also stops kids from doing it so that's what I think.

I would change how the next leader would be selected.

All political candidates must take an IQ exam. 131 below is disqualified. No criminal records. Must be a graduate in College with above average grades. Mandatory 80 day survival challenge in a very remote Island together with other candidates without any outside help. With 24/7 real time coverage. Then a very random raffle to choose the next president and other posts from the what was left from the contestants.

Then after 2 years eligible voters would vote if the current politicians would be retain or would be replace. Eligible voters should have 90 and above IQ. And must have National ID.  Replace means would raffle again for next the President or other posts.

I would also break powerful companies that might control the Government. And Kill all corrupts and zombie drug addicts or put them to force labor.

When the USA was started, everybody understood common law, and that the jury had the power to overrule the U.S. Government in everything. At that time, thing they needed was a strong government to fight Britain and King George. So, they sort-of hid the part about the common law by not emphasizing it in the Constitution and Amendments. This made the Federal Government strong when it was needed to be strong.

Now that the Federal Government is encroaching on our freedoms more and more all the time, we need to bring the common law out into the open, so that the jury becomes the rule on all laws. The thing we don't need is change in the set-up of the government. All we need is far greater emphasis on, and knowledge about, common-law and jury strength.

If I were President or other leader of the USA, I would set things in place to teach the people about the way they have strength in the common law and in jury trial.

For example, if somebody smoked a marijuana cigarette everyday - not enough to hurt him or anybody - and he did it in his own house where he privately raised his owns pot plants for his own use, he should know how to use the common law and the jury in the right way to keep Fed Gov (and others) from arresting him and throwing him in jail for nothing.

Properly used, the common law and jury trial can keep everybody who live a private life, and who doesn't threaten or harm anybody else in his living, from being controlled or imprisoned by Fed Gov or the States. The only thing we lack is knowledge of how to use the law the right way. And Government doesn't want us to know, because they would lose a whole lot of control and a whole lot of revenue.

I would go about teaching the people for their own protection from their own Government.

24 hours isn't enough for all the things that I want to change if ever I'll lead my country.

The first thing that came to my mind is to do something about energy, putting down the high price of energy would lead to other products to decrease in prices which will cause domino effect and this is what the people want.
