In my opinion alts will boom once bitcoin gets its traction back. We are in a descending triangle right now or some bullish enthusiasts would consider that we are in a falling wedge, but as a level I would get bullish again once we overpass $10,000.

Well, at this stage, we really cannot tell how 2019 is going to be like since we cannot tell what the future have in store for us anyway, and the only thing we can do is to be patient and be optimistic that things could get a bit better than this year.

However, I believe there is still nothing wrong with this year as it has certainly given us all the chance to buy at a lower price, which only smart people always get to see at times like this anyway.

Based on various TA chart I came across and the market sentimental, I dont think the "comeback" of altcoin will be beginning of 2019 but mid of 2019. So right now we are in bagging period, frankly, I feel scare when the coin go down and down. Anything can be happened, but bitcoin ETF result will give a lot of insight about what will be happening next year, remember a lot of countries have prepared the new taxation rules to be applied to the crypto.
At least crypto still stay at the top right now and it can be considered as a god point to support crypto in the next year.

I've seen 100 predictions about the Altcoins coming back. Every month we waited for hope, but it didn't. I hope not until 2019.

Some amateurs in here really need to understand the difference between a healthy pullback and a dump. Yes after 4-5 days of green there is typically some red, usually a 2-5% correction. That's when things consolidate for the next leg up.

It doesn't mean the market has suddenly turned from bullish to bearish. These are the times when you buy. You don't buy yesterday when it's green, wake up today and panic sell to tether for a loss.

From the way cryptocurrency is this year 2018, I will not categorically say that the prices of altcoins will bounce back. If that will be there should be a cleansing in the crypto world, there are too many scam projects these days, Most of them looks like good projects but the devs after running the ICO they will only list in some dead exchanges and disappear.
