Due to recent good news from the Ripple on their Xrapid Development price of the XRP coin is booming. As per the CMC total market capitalization of the Ethereum on CMC is $23,347,677,622 & Ripple is $23,343,115,883 Billion which is very near. Looks like ethereum will loose rank 2 if the price of the ripple will increase more. Whats your thought on this?

I was shocked when i finally checked the market price yesterday since i  stopped doing such for almost a month because of the reddish market behavior

And when I opened my coin market cap site,there it is ripple dominated ethereum in top two position,at first i thought theres something wrong with the sitebut after several refreshes i admit that its reality,i felt so dumb for not buying ripple

Yeah, it's crazy that ETH lost it's position as second best crypto asset to Ripple.

But feels like bottom is in now for ETH and it starts fighting to get back on slot 2 right now.

Rather it is a good signal for all Ripple fans! Today, on September 22, after small fluctuations, the price of the coin has again gone up and I think so, this growth will reach the price not less than $ 1!

After ethereum losing number 2 position and replace by ripple, ethereum come back with the increase of the volume and marketcap. It's more interesting because the cheap coin price can replace the position for a while although it's not too long for ethereum to retake place. I wonder, if this is going happen again and ripple can increase more, then the number 2 position can change back, and ethereum will satisfy in the third positions. But it will need a big effort from ripple itself since the competitor is ethereum.

Well if you are holding XRP its a good news for you, but ETH backs on top again so this is a real good fight with a great top coins. Everyone will continue to improve so they can live longer in this market. Continue to support your coin and have a profitable trading, just know when to exit with the XRP coin because it will drop at any moment.

That did not last long, Ether recovered its place. I think Ripple might take the second place again, but it will not be able to stay there for long time, because Ethereum offers different technology and has bigger community.

ETH and XRP were taking over each other several times in the past so its not surprising already. But for someone who just hold tokens, the position of coins on marketcap doesn't matter its the price. Maybe ripple's volume up because it get pumped, after that it will back again below volume of ETH daily basis because until now people still need and use ETH so demand in market will never end.

Yes, a few days ago I saw that ethereum's position was shifted by ripple in coinmarketcap because at that time ripple was experiencing a fantastic price increase so people moved to it, but now ethereum has been able to reclaim that position and that proves that ethereum is the most expensive Altcoin popular and also have good strength.

And then ethereum recovered that position in a very short amount of time, people worry too much about things that are not really important, ethereum had some really bad months but instead of seeing that as something bad you should see this as an opportunity to make a huge amount of profits with ethereum in a short time.

These 2 coins are of great importance in the cryptocurrency ecosystem. Even if one coin is moved to a lower position, it may be a short-term phenomenon. Ethereum was been taking its position again and the ripple pump will not be so long, everyone should not feel worry about this one. Ripple is a short term altcoin which has been using the news to pump the price of ripple. As you can see so many people are using it to take the position.

I think its not important whose no.2. As long as they will stay strong and stable in the market. But for me ethereum is still better than xrp.
