The banking and business world can make use of XRP and the Ripple network so it makes sense to want to invest and develop. Apart from Bitcoin which is the base crypto currency and Ethereum which uses smart contracts nearly all other crypto (except some tokens) have no real world use so investing in most of them is nothing more than a gamble.

many people underestimate the growth of ripple but in fact actually surprise everyone with the growth of the market cap that is able to shift the second position of ethereum as best altcoins.

i would like to highlight that marketcap for XRP is with calculated only circulating supply, if you calculate total supply, XRP is above ETH many times, and close to BTC
personally, i do not see that as viable to stay, XRP is overvalued at the moment, compared to ETH and BTC

And again that show the flaw of the coinmarketcap calculation.  If XRP have lesser amount I am sure it won't be on that place right now. So it workd in both ways.  Create trillions of token, play the exchange to have 100k usd volume everyday then boom you are listed on top.  I am not saying XRP is doing that, I am just stating the flaw on that site.

Anyway, I still believe XRP is somehow a good token to invest in today if you can  follow the market fluctuation.

Yes, ripple is just another corporate company, it is not a coin.
Why people mistake xrp and ripple I have no idea. Normally they have no connection other than company making some cash for themselves whenever they want.

There is absolutely no correlation between the two because when the company gets a deal or signs a contract with some big company the price of xrp goes up as well but there is no need. They are not going to buy their coin back from you just because they made money, or they are not going to give you dividends on the profits they made.

This is not stock or share of a company, it is just a way for them to sell and profit whenever they are short on cash. I do not know why ripple has been going on this long and I really hope it will soon finish because it is literally looking they it might be a scam for you and very dangerous.

XRP is the low cost option to use on the Ripple network. xRapid uses XRP and it will make transactions faster and cheaper than not using it.

As for XRP and/or Ripple being a scam, please provide the evidence because I always thought it an excellent platform as well as an excellent investment in my portfolio.

I think that many simply took the time and read what XRP is because this project is very difficult to attribute to cryptocurrency, because their blockchain is similar to a table in Excel that is very easy to edit.

Ripple has been doing quite well.. ever since the launch of its mainnet... I'm thinking of adding some more to my portfolio as well... expecially since the fact that if has maintained its spot as the no 2 coin on cmc

it looks like ripple had already convince a lot to invest on them, some bitcoin holder are already dumping to buy xrp. i have read some news about xrp, there ain't no way to verifying whether their claim is true but a lot are convinced when garlinghouse were interviewed recently.

Lots of people have dumped their crypto stock to buy XRP. it makes sense for them as they feel they have a better ROI with XRP. There is no guarantee about that of course but they feel comfortable holding XRP.

And personally, I think that this is definitely not the case, because I see this as a certain manipulation for the market by the XRP project in relation to other projects that has always been growing lately. This is really strange.

Both these coins have their own unique market space to cover. They are far too big to fail.

I think ETH with its contracts and XRP with its banking fintech possibilities are excellent coins but they must evolve to stay relevant.

Rippl today shows itself as a strong, reliable coin. But this altcoin cannot move against the market. If bitcoin continues to fall, the price of ripple will also move down.
