On Friday September 14 2018 my family home was broken into. They used a ladder and climbed through my bedroom window...the entire house was destroyed. They went into every nook and cranny looking for valuables...Kialaras certainly look valuable so they were taken. I do not believe this was a BTC targeted attack based on the other things taken and not taken. This happened in the Greater Toronto Area in Canada Ontario. If you're in that area, please keep an eye out for them at pawnshops. Otherwise if you see one of them on sale online (here, ebay, craigslist) please notify me through here. Apart from their monetary value, they have a lot of sentimental value. I have loved and promoted these items for years. I was even the artist that painted the Current for the signature series. I am emotionally invested and am heartbroken that they’ve been taken. 1. 1btc Gold (serial 89/100) funded 1btc 2. 1btc silver (serial 043/250) unfunded 3. 1btc labyrinth w/ silver balls #543 funded .1 btc 4. It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

I read this horrifying story on Twitter. I assume a police report was filed and the authorities dusted for prints. Perhaps you will get lucky and they will capture the perpetrators. Any surveillance video from your or perhaps a neighbor’s security cameras? Were these items included on your homeowner’s insurance policy? While this is definitely an unfortunate situation, perhaps some good could come of it by bringing to light necessary crypto security practices. A bit hard to believe that no neighbors witnessed someone climbing through an upstairs window with a ladder. I hope you’re able to recover them. Maybe the loaded address could be used to track down where the funds went to aid in the investigation?

It's a quiet neighbourhood. My parents have lived there for over a decade without a single issue or break-in in the area. No one has cameras. They wore gloves. They were pros. It seems they were looking for cash (they looked in our flour, stole my mom's heirloom gold jewellery etc). In-out mission in evening while no one was home. Thank you for you kind words. xo

Like OG said..do you have the public addy for the loaded Kialaras? Keep an eye on them and see if they get redeemed. You can trace the final destination of the sent Bitcoin. Goodluck

That is one reason why you don't post your address in "My Messages". long-timers even advised me not to post tracking as well. Use privenote or equivalent.
Not saying that is what happened in this case.

Ugh, what a horrible story. I really wish at least some of the Kialaras turn up again and find their way back to you. Can‘t imagine the stress you must have gone through when finding most of your home destroyed. All the best.

I texted Max to see if he could possibly help with the 2 addresses of the loaded pieces. Will let you know if I hear back I've also been in touch and he definitely helped me save time digging though old wallets. I had the serials and he gave me the public keys. I was then able to look at the sent from addresses and confirm which wallet it was. The fact that this was pretty easy to do also says that if I publish the pub keys it would leak an enormous amount of privacy. If they were freshly mined btc, it would be a different story. Also, because the outputs were pooled when I sent the 1 btc, it would leak information about other people I transacted with...and that's not my place to do. I was still technically newb in the space so feel free to scold me on that. Max has always had a policy of not releasing any public keys without permission which is respectable. I considered releasing them myself but to reiterate: it would leak too much information about my bitcoin. Having said that, I gave Max permission to notify the community if the BTC is moved (I will also be keeping my eye on this). This way we will all know if the piece is destroyed.

One app I use is Bitcoin Address Watcher.
I have all my loaded btc public addresses on it and if any changes take place I get an alert right away.
Edit..it seems the app I suggested is no longer available on playstore..but there is wallet watcher as a good alternative. Not sure if it has an alarm feature though

This app sounds really interesting. I did a quick search but did not find any info about it. - Is it secure to use or do they submit the pub key data to their servers or something like that? What I am wondering is the following: if someone gets hold of your pub key collection he has a full view of your (BTC) finances, right? So in order to make this a secure app it would need some pw protection and also guarantee that no data is kept outside your local device. /Sorry for ot, but maybe this info is interesting to some, otherwise we can continue the chat via dm, if OP preferes that.

They will turn up somewhere... The thieves will want to sell them and if online, you can check craigslist, ebay, etsy etc... periodically. It sounds like you've been visiting some pawn shops too...
I would recommend creating a printout sheet (perhaps double sided) and print a pic of each one and leave this with the store owner, so that they know what to look for.
