How can we mine the new algo's, in the blockexplorer I see they are mined but I cant figure out how.

Which one exactly?

Astralhash
Globalhash
Jeonghash
Padihash
Pawelhash

you can mine them in wallet directly

edit globaltoken.conf
add a line like

algo=astralhash
and you need a line like

acceptdividedcoinbase=1

this line is your acknowledgement to pay masternodes and the dev fee from the block reward (this will happen automatically).

after restarting your wallet go to debug console and type

generate 20 999999999

this will do following ..

it tries to generate up to 20 blocks with 999'999'999 generated hashes.

if you find 20 blocks first, miner will stop
if you generated those alsmost 1000 million hashes - it will stop.

if you found a block in this time - you get the block reward.

thats all the magic!

You can change the values of "generate XX YYYYYYYYYY" for sure to your needs.
while the wallet is mining a clean shutdown of the wallet or use of console is not possible.
so if you plan to use the console or shutdown wallet - dont let the last nuber be to high.

on my pc the example line takes about 11 hours.

Greetings - Astrali

How do I know its running correctly?

I tried a small timer, 999999 than it runs for 3-5 minutes and than i see:
[
]

and nothing else happens. CPU during this time is around 15% for globaltoken-qt.exe.

I have never mined directly from wallet so excuse my newbie questions Smiley

as soon as

[
]

shows up mining ended and you see no tx hash (no block found)

it will use 1 core of your cpu!

nothing to excuse Smiley questions are here to get answered!
If you found blocks in the meantime you will see a hash in those brackets.

and your balance will instant pop up in your wallets tx to mature for 100 blocks.

if anything is unclear, let me know Smiley

It works! mined for 7 hours with time 444.444.444 and found 2 blocks Smiley
This makes my cpu more usefull than mining yescrypt on zpool.

Looking forward to mine 25k more coins to get a masternode running, halfway there!

Good to see some action here guys!

We are in contact with some GPU miner-devs.
They told that they will add in the next Version: Astralhash, Jeonghash, Padihash & Pawelhash

Prepare for the next big mining Coin Wink

Any update on gpu mining software for the new algo's?

We have a nvidia miner, but no pool, that offers those algos to be mined.
Right now I need to focus on the Android Wallet.

If you know a Pool, which can list us, let me know and I test it.
Then we could release the nvidia miner.

Astrali's pool: http://pool2.cryptopowered.club:1234/

I've seen some mined blocks there already, I always assumed it was the mining software guys testing if it works Smiley

Yeah, we are testing it there.

Jeonghash works good, but all others are not hashing.
We have a different hash every time, although everything is coded correctly in NOMP.

You can try getmininginfo or getalgoinfo in your RPC console of the globaltoken-qt or ./globaltoken-cli
You will find all information there.

Thanks.

This is clearly seen from the command in the console.
It is very convenient to have such information.  Smiley
