Some gpu algo's might be mineable with fgpa's.

The algo's labeled 'new algo' can be mined through the wallet in the console with the following command:
Generate numberofblocks numberofhashes algo
for example: generate 2 99999999 cryptoandcoffee (this will mine the algo cryptoandcoffee until either 2 blocks have been found or 99999999 hashes have been calculated).

Antminer A3 is at this time incompatible with GLT.
You cannot mine GLT with an A3.

At the moment there are 813.500 blocks mined this means 37.500 till the first halving of GLT!
The chain works with average 1.440 blocks per day (60 algo's 1 block per hour per algo) resulting in 26 days until halving!

After halving the current blockreward will go from 100 GLT (60 for miner, 25 for MN and 15 for treasury) to 50 GLT (30 for miner, 12,5 for MN and 7,5 for treasury)

Update regarding upcoming halving:

At the moment there are 831.000 blocks mined this means 9.000 left till halving.
The chain works with average 1.440 blocks per day (60 algo's 1 block per hour per algo) resulting in 6,25 days until halving! Estimated Tuesday september 17th 21:00 CET.


Get those last blocks with full reward before you are too late 


At the moment there are mining opportunities for everyone, you can mine some algo's through wallet (read a few posts up for instructions), some can be mined only with cpu (with possibility of using a pool), some only with gpu and some fpga and some with asic. Take your pick!

I am extremely happy with the quality of the product and its capabilities.  Unfortunately the official mining pool is lacking the necessary hashrate to compete with the larger pools. On 17th September 2019 the first GlobalToken halving occurred.
All rewards halved at block 840,000.
The next halving will be in ~ 1.5 years.
The halving is a new milestone for GLT.

Coinexchange.io is Closing Down

It is with great regret that we must inform the community that the board of directors of CoinExchange.io has decided to close down the exchange.

This is purely a business decision and there has not been a security breach or any other type of incident. Unfortunately it is no longer economically viable for us to continue offering market services. The costs of providing the required level of security and support now outweigh our earnings.

Trading and deposits will be suspended on the 15th of October 2019. Please cease any deposit and trade activity as soon as possible.

The website and withdrawals will remain operational until the 1st of December 2019. We ask that you please remove all funds by this date.

It has been a fantastic journey and we have enjoyed playing a part in the crypto currency space. We thank everyone that has traded or listed a currency with us.

I began mining GLT after hearing about the halving from a friend. I run many different types of machines (ASIC, GPU, FGPA, CPU) and they all perform great with GLT! The chain is consistent and robust. The number of mining pools, exchanges, and the team's proficiencies have kept me mining GLT. CoinExchange closing down is just another bump in the road. GlobalToken has so many options that choice appears to be a core value.
