First, the english of the creator of this post was pretty good. Probably better than mine.
Due to the profitability of cryptocurrencies it's kind of obvious that people will want to step in, including the ones who don't particularly enjoy playing fair. The interesting thing about them is that they are constantly improving. Which means that the step ahead of scams and/or phishing attempts it's necessary that each one of us educate ourselves about the threats out there.
The truth is, as long as it's so easy to conduct regular mail spam and/or fake websites/ICOs successfully with profits - It will continue happening.
I personally don't like the Bounties who pay after months. It's a lot easier to understand where you are standing with weekly payment. Only with enough people putting pressure towards that goal it can happen. Sadly, too many inside those kind of bounties just use bots. Which makes it easy for them to occupy spots and do the work listed.

Currently, the crypto-currency market is very popular and since it is not controlled by anyone, it is much easier for fraudsters to act.
Still there are many scopes to identify the scam and good projects. I want to participate in the bounty program means firstly I read the white paper and team members whether they are legit or not. If all the details are fine there or not you need to analyze the information and then participate the campaign mate.

Simple but exact to the point, since crypto is not regulated or controlled more and more new projects has been created to have investors interest they create more bounties so they will be look good and attract newcomers, but all they long its just an strategy to collect funds and to scam both investors and participants who work for their projects.

A lot has changed in the space between 2017 and now. Scam projects really into the crypto world in this period too and it has seen a lot of people lose by way buying into fraudulent ICOs and bounty hunters wasting precious time promoting a project with worthless tokens. Some even outright disappear without issuance of the bounty payments like Impressio did. The best for every bounty hunter is to be critical of every project before joining bounties, in fact, you can discontinue mid way if things don't sit well with you.

You are right, there are a lot of scam projects, but there is always a choice. If we have experience, some knowledge, we can distinguish this project, and those who just want to collect money and hide.

More and more ICOS turn out to be a Scam. The problems of bounty hunters compared to investors ' gaps seem to me to be more petty, although in fact the problem is one - the scammers.

Today, the Internet is literally peppered with offers of investments in start-ups, promising projects, trading in crypto-currency, mining, etc. Alas, but most of these proposals are deceptive. With the advent of the global network, scammers quickly realized the prospect of deceiving a large audience of naive users.

Your English is better than OP's. The fact is, most bounties are not actually scams, but are instead failures. There is a big different, one indicates malicious intend, whereas the other does not. The terms and conditions of most bounties typically state that if the ICO fails, the tokens will not be distributed, which is just obvious really. Why would they spend ETH sending out completely useless tokens?

I dont know about your arguments regarding some prohibition of ICO marketing but I have noticed some scammy behaviour of some bounties which is to state that bounty will be like 600k$ and fine print that if the stakes will no exceed the tokens ( which in these cases is impossible and would require 10's of thousands of poeple) then we will make this calculation stakes=tokens.

More and more Bounties turn out to be SCAM. In the years 2016-1917 the era of the ICO began, and the launch of projects was very different from what we see now. Much attention was paid to the promotion of the project in social networks and in all forums. To date, everything has changed. Advertising ICO in social networks is prohibited, and good projects are trying to find good investors themselves. Therefore, many projects refuse to conduct Bounty and Eidrody. Projects begin to carry out closed ICO (for example, ICO Telegram). But many projects continue to use Bounty to attract investors. And on my vzdlyade 50-70% of these projects SCAM. The project plans to raise money and disappear with them. Therefore, they do not mind paying a small percentage of Bounty and Airdrop. The conclusion from this is that the choice of Bounty for work should be very careful. Do not waste 20 weeks on an empty one. Sorry for my English.
You are right, unfortunately, there are more such projects, but choosing what will be really valuable is not an easy task. Time to analyze the project will take much more than participation in generosity. Especially it became noticeable this year

yes more and more ico are created everyday, some of them are scam, actually more than half of them. no one can really tell which ico is a scam, because it looks like a real one. they are running like a good ico and operated with complete team and has a papers.
So true. That is why the basic way to investigate if the ICO is scam in not enough already because they are like a real one. Itis very necessary to study first the ICO before you invest because of this kind of scenario. With this it is very important to be wise and smart to avoid scam.

It is your selection for the bounties to take part in it, due to more and more bounties there are more scams, one must be selective for the bounty and must check before taking part in it, check properly te team, project and product of the bounty only then there are chances of success.

That's right, there are lots of ico just scam and don't pay, and if you want to get results, then before following the bounty, you have to take the time to do research on ico that you will follow, and it's better than you are stuck in a scam.

It is unfortunate that more projects are turning scam while others are not achieving desired results. The crypto space is really going through a hard time now. But to many who believe in block chain/crypto should keep their faith strong.

I am a wolf that two years ago the crypto-currency and ico companies were the property of a narrow circle of people who worked for the development of crypto-currency and earned good money. But when the information began to diverge, there are many people who want to take advantage of the situation and earn a bad way.

Definetly agree with you, now a days not a single or two but lots of scam bounties are runed/engaged. At the time of joining these bounty looks like more promising and real, but as days pass on these guys shows their real ugly side and vanishes, it has become much difficult to recognize the genuine bounty.

If you participate more bounty there more chance or probability to get Scam. You have to be careful with your joining. To participate any campaign check everything about this project.
at this time many gifts are scam, because the development is increasingly in demand by people, therefore the gift maker uses enthusiasts to seek profit. Indeed, we should now be careful about the gift and we must know whether the gift is fraud or not.

Because everyone who knows how to make a website and make up a decent story and use case and set up a site, create a fake team, with fake background and earn money by scamming investors who are looking to get rick over night.

It is true. A lot of bounties are going scam, because the ICOs are not able to reach the soft cap. It is said, but there are also a lot of great bounties, where you can earn a lot of money. Investigating the project, before start doing a bounty will help for sure But no one is safe.
