Tomorrow, when you earn an additional 5 stakes you may deposit 2.5 again, and so on.

It looks like early investors pay 'cash' (eth) to bounty hunters for mining (earning stakes) of a reliable startup.  
Very usable model for investors who have cash but don't have time for bounty work.
