The first and foremost that comes to my mind is what they promise. There is nothing like being rich overnight. So you need to look for unrealistic claims and what the project white paper presents. Most of the times we fall for these fake promises. Anything that looks too good to be true, is suspicious in crypto.
not only in the cryptocurrency world i may say taht if something looks so temptating in the real world it can be a trap as well

in fact, Each of us wants to believe in positive changes in the cryptocurrency market, since we are already accustomed to a serious result of our activity in the cryptocurrency business. But apparently the big whales, who manipulate the market, have very different plans.

The most important thing is not to trust the new coins and ICO. You need to carefully choose the coins for investment. Because there are a lot of them but very few quality ones.

Identifying scam projects can be the hardest thing to do. Do more we try to identify them, the more they also device new means to remain hidden. You just have to keep trying until you are able to do it perfectly well and ensure to invest just what you can afford to loose.

Hello everybody .
Tell us, how do you recognize the scammers? I've met a lot of fraudulent projects and I can say that I learned by bitter experience, but every day it's more difficult to distinguish a good project from scammers. We do not want to lose our money and do not waste time in the empty, participating in the companies bounty.

Honestly that is not too hard in my opinion. You can chech team investors and whitepaper firstly. and if you have a experience about icos you can realise these scam ones easly. maybe the more good answer is you need to search about good icos websites. and after some time you can automatically realise the scam websites. they are smelling like a scam..

avoid scammers certainly should be more clever than the fraudster. When he provides false then the project must know the indication that the project is indeed a scam. When the find project scam is certainly at least learn what makes this into a scam and will definitely be learned from several factors. by learning from experience I think would be more able to see the results.

In my opinion, if you are not enough knowledge and experience, you can choose the projects which have gotten a good amount of fund in softcap.

You can protect yourself only by yourself because everything depends on you and your decisions are key to the success. Be careful about your moves and manipulations with money.

There's nothing you can do about scammers and all the other crappy things happening here. You cannot control that, but you can control yourself, and you can choose to be smart and wise when it comes to making decisions and actions like knowing when a project is suspicious. And that's also why you should first do your research before getting into things.

Well, I think there are many posts about discussion as you ask. in essence you have to look for a lot of knowledge and especially the desire to read a lot from various references to increase your insight in terms of investment or ico. this is important, because experience plays an important role in making knowledge, especially about technical analysis

Although I am not a skilled bounty hunter, I am very willing to share my method for you! I hope to help you!
1. Read the white paper (I think this is the most important step)
2. When you think the project is good, you should try to join their group (telegraph, Twitter, Facebook or other social groups) because you can get more knowledge about the project through language exchange!

I disagree with you. SCAM is not impossible to understand the project and people. First of all we can not believe in every opportunity. Sometimes promises don't match reality. The SCAM problem can hurt all of us, but we need to read, investigate and query. If we do, the risk will decrease.

I think experience plays an important role in all matters related to crypto, so this is difficult because in every search there is always a risk that we will face, especially in the ICO project. bounty or investment there is no difference. the point is always to try to learn first and try to analyze it

I protect my self not to believe in projects that give you much more profit if you invest with them and don't click any referral link that given to you by unknown person don't to rush or excited to what you see because it can be a threat to your money's security when you're not careful.

I think we should be more cautious when we are selecting any cryptocurrency project, we should carry out a due diligent search to ascertain the validity of the project through reading the project whitepaper and other related documentation. We should be very careful not to lose our money.

the most important thing is to be careful yourself, because often the holders themselves give their assets foolishly. A separate device to work ONLY with crypto, a separate e - mail, antivirus, VPN, password generators-this should be enough))

We also suffer. There is no one way to learn scam project or real. There is faith in the bounty manager. And analysis of the very idea of the project. Everything else is 50/50 like in a casino.

I think you need to be extremely careful and cautious. It is necessary to watch constantly. Track all your actions. And the most important thing is not to hurry. so as not to make mistakes. For which then you will need to pay.
