Actually we can't really tell. Some people uses bitcoin as a mode of payment now a days. Yet paypal is most commonly used by now and its is already established before bitcoin came in.

I think not. Bitcoin and paypal will never replace each other but they will help each other grow. As we all know that many apps right now requires paypal as payment method. It is also the same with paypal. So as long as there are plenty of transaction process through paypal and bitcoin then they will both be productive.

In the spirit of mass adoption we are likely going to see the death of PayPal and other payment gateways. Do you foresee the death of PayPal soon by Bitcoin? At some point people would want to feel safe in not tying their credit cards to any online payment gateway. Your thoughts?

Bitcoin and Paypal are quite different. I wouldn't compare them. Anyways, with time most of the payment systems will die or will be replaced with newer ones. Technology is moving forward and if some payment systems can't manage to pace with time - they will extinct.

Bitcoin has ages to go before it can even think about replacing PayPal. Here in India, Bitcoin is almost banned and at the same time PayPal is expanding its operations at a brisk pace.

At one point there might be a simular platform that offers secure payments and insurance behind those transactions, but as for now Paypal is here to stay.

If you however do look at the beginning years and steps of paypal, you'll see that it resembles bitcoin in many ways, so who knows :-)

Paypal is having hundreds of millions of users and they have the capability to process hundreds of millions of transactions every hour. Unfortunately Bitcoin is not in a position to overtake such a giant right now.

I think this possible that bitcoin can bring an end to PayPal. Although this will take a little more time because PayPal is still more accepted by a lot of persons. The charges and restrictions of PayPal are high though, so bitcoin can bring an end to PayPal.

Paypal is more stablished and secure I don’t think that bitcoin will let this end.maybe they will both serve people in two different ways.but enough for satisfaction in the future.
Yeah bitcoin is far behind paypal in terms of supporters since this payment method has being used from almost the US citizens and other country as well, while bitcoin is popular for profitable site that's why they are different

Bitcoin has achieved a lot since its inception and possess all the capabilities of displaces Paypal because it also offers investment opportunity for its users which is not seen with Paypal. Bitcoin is not yet ready to displace Paypal because Paypal has got the acceptance of banks in several places. Bitcoin can reach its full capabilities of displacing Paypal when the governments accept it.

Paypal is surely affected due to P2P payments like bitcoins. But they are so giant that they will modify themselves to adopt the market needs.

the thing that I least want to do is connect the credit card into paypal, it sucks in my opinion, sometimes I remember the past where everyone wanted to find income from an online business but at that time only paypal was used and it was very difficult for people who don't have a credit card, at least bitcoin is so much better that I am very excited about promoting bitcoin so that one day my hopes will be reached later where any payment is much easier to use bitcoin and at least I can do business online

It is possible to end paypal after a long years if bitcoin gets to be more popular and usable in the future, cause crypto could be our basic online payment if we want to purchase something in online much easy and quick transaction.

Blockchain and bitcoin are doing well with their operations. With bitcoin transactions are fast, secured and reliable. However, paypal, the pioneer is the ultimate edition and will be difficult to eliminate. I think both media for money transfer will continue to exist.

I do not think that can happen, or it will have to wait a long time for that to happen. I think Bitcoin was born to bring transparency and security in the transaction, but it still has a lot of problems. Why do we keep thinking Bitcoin will destroy Paypal, it simply creates more choices for us!

I know what you feel bro. I also had an issue to verify my paypal as i didn't have credit card. With bitcoin, the transaction is p2p without the need of verification. Bitcoin is superior to paypal on this. Because of bitcoin, i'm able to buy things online and pay for online service. I really hope there will be more and more merchant that accept bitcoin and also the other cryptos.

I don't think that will happen in the near future. Paypal is one of the economic strengths in the world today and for me Paypal still has many users. With various partnerships made by paypal with various important sectors, it has been proven that paypal has gained trust. But everything can happen, now Bitcoin is becoming a prima donna and has a very broad market share. If PayPal requires registration with a credit card, Bitcoin offers something much easier. We will think far ahead and I believe the era of cryptocurrency will grow further in the future.

there will be a time when Bitcoin becomes the biggest world power !!!

I think that will not happen because the two are both different paypal acts like a bank and all transaction are not anonymously done all transactions are done by registered users.

I guess you need to switch your description for both. Paypal is more popular than Bitcoin. But Bitcoin is more secure! As a Bitcoin holder we need to promote it.

i think no bro. yup bitcoin is popular. but paypal is more security
