What are your experiences with Cryptopia (exchange)?

Hey!

So, here is the deal:
Some of my friends tell me Cryptopia is a solid exchange to trade on. Especially for the smaller coins (not in the top 300),
But, some other friends absolutely hate Cryptopia, they say the UI sucks and it even has scam coins on them.
Both of them have a point, I know the UI isn't the best, but i also know it's good to trade smaller coins on.

I'm wondering, have you ever used this exchange and if yes, would you recommend it?

Cryptopia was one of the recommended exchange for new people who wants to get experience in trading because, in that site, they are learning to analyze the market. Besides that, the trade in that site is not moving too fast so it will help the beginner to understand what they need to do. But right now, I don't think cryptopia is recommended anymore since if you visit on the site, it says the site was maintenance, and I don't know when it's finished. So I won't recommend Cryptopia to trade right now, and it's better you try with Binance only.

I used to trade on cryptopia back in 2017 when i was new to crypto. Everything worked fine back then including deposit and withdrawal process but the recent hacked that happened to cryptopia makes me lost my trust on this exchange.

Currently I have balance in cryptopia and since they get hacked I can not access that my balance,  this exchange was offline so long and this is really unprofessional.  I will be more worry because they did not give any update for long times.

yes, I also have quite a lot of experience in making transactions on the market. well, that is a pretty good market, but I also don't do transactions there often. well, however it is a pretty good exchanger before hacking occurs.

When I use Cryptopia exchange it was bad experience for me, cause my coins were stuck and my deposit showed complete confirmations but my coins does not appears into account.

I also like that myself, my assets are often lost because cryptopia is often attacked by hackers which makes me sad, so a lot of experience is sadness rather than pleasure in the exchange of cryptopia

before cryptopia was hacked I once had the experience of selling a number of tokens that I had there actually had very high security but how could hackers attack the exchange.

I think Why Most hate Cryptopia is because of the many coins that are barely known to people And the UI is not very effective sometimes but hey you gotta use what you need I like the fact that the market has very valuable coin and pairing too is good Example you can trade with Doge Coin

I have not used Cryptopia since many have negative experiences. They have been hacked recently, and this is a red flag. They still do not give any explanations, and perhaps funds of users are lost. However, if you keep funds in your account, you risk losing them using any exchange.

the experience was very much in cryptopia such as loss of assets and money, because cryptopia was very prone to cracking. the problem is that cryptopia has often become widespread which ultimately makes many people lose their assets

Cryptopia just back to online after 1,5 month offline cause of hack, but the trading activity still paused. According to their update in twitter they will manage the exchange to be much better and i think they can do that because they have alot of experience and operated more than 4 years.

I think the exchange of cryptopia is a good exchange. I say that because I used it and did not experience problems when trading and the good side of cryptopia is having a large trading volume and also many types of altcoins that we can choose to trade.

You have no clue what you're talking about. Cryptopia has been a recent topic in the Crypto space of recent following the hack where tens of thousands of customers funds were lost. And till date, No one is talking about what happens to affected users. Whether or not they'll be compensated for their losses. I did use Cryptopia in the past but moved to Binance as I wasn't really enjoying Cryptopia's interface and the security of the exchange was quite poor leaving room for hackers to get room... And they did.

Cryptopia was a good exchange and I used to trade in it for low volume coins. Also many low volume coins were present only on Cryptopia due to which many people had to trade there. But then early this year they were hacked. The good news is that their website is back online but it is on maintenance mode. Many people will withdraw their funds from there once the site is fully functional.

Crytopia was a service I used last year and last year. I have been using this service for the purchase of Dogecoin and ZClassic. Especially in the period when I was satisfied with this service, I was usually paying quickly and was not able to do so easily because of the server slowness. But unfortunately this service has faced a new hacking incident in recent weeks and has caused many users to become victims. I do not intend to use this service, which I have not used for a long time, in the near future or in the future.

That's an awful experience.I know that safety is a main point for every exchange base and trading platform. Btw, if you want to find really safe and reliable platform i'd strongly recommend you to use Monfex.They have 20X leverage and the ability to go long and short on 12 coins.
