A lot of countries also accepts Bitcoin as a payment. It might not be that favorable to other investors and traders since the price of Bitcoin can pump or dump. Other Crypto currency users use Bitcoin and other crypto to gamble. It is a popular way of using Bitcoin now and there are a lot of times that it is being use to bet on online gambling sites.

Crypto has vast number of applications other than trading but there are few countries which actually implement crypto for buying goods and services. But can you imagine how crypto currency can be beneficial for company, companies can use it as monthly wages if employees allow it. But right now Crypto is just seen as an asset which is traded on exchanges and converted into fiat but in future we will see many uses of crypto

If many country starting to accept crypto then possible it can used anything like used as payment in store or give as salary of employees, but since it only used as trading and it only become fiat when someone exhanges it to their currency. And I think cryptocurrency is now can used as payment in some site and accept in some country, maybe when years goes by crypto will be used not only as asset but lot of uses.

Right now some country is planning to accept it and some country is starting to accept crypto like in Japan. I heard that in Japan they used crypto as a wages for their employees. So I think cryptocurrency not only for trading and asset but only as payment in the future, we all need to do is still wait for it to happen and wait for our country to accept it.

Try these options:

1. Online shopping (bitify.com, Overstock.etc)
2. Donate to charities (Red Cross, Green Peace.etc)
3. Invest in ICOs
4. Purchase gift cards from Gyft.com
5. Book hotels (Expedia)
6. Dark Markets

More than 90% of ICOs (still a wide margin) lack pure utility aside from trading values. Among freelancers, people may trade one crypto for another, but in a brick and mortar business scenario, crypto has little to no impact. For example if I walk into a store I could get the credit card and a few other payment options. Still, with the over abundance of crypto technologies and their native tokens, only a handful of stores have barcodes for bitcoin and a few other payment coin types.

I think we need more radical real world businesses tokenizing their products and using this 'tokenization' as a means to garner support for mainstream crypto adoption. Like rewarding people loyalties for using their products.

Does anyone else here share the same concerns, or do you know a coin that is owned by real businesses for such purposes?
We can use cryptocurrencies in our daily payment. In my country, there are now markets that are now accepting bitcoin as payment. There are now many people who are now aware to the potential of the bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

The ability to use cryptocurrencies as a means of payment or for other purposes depends on the country in which you chew, but in most cases, cryptocurrencies are more used as investments or value preservation than as a means of payment. For the global legalization of crypto-currencies and tokenization, it takes some time.

That could be a way to increase the usage of cryptocurrencies but this will push the usage of cryptocurrencies in a very specific context and it seems to me that what we are looking for is for a few cryptocurrencies to be used all over the world in most stores because I find unlikely that the average person is going to want to hold many coins the way we do, in my country people only hold the local currency and at most US dollars and Euros and a similar approach should be tried with cryptocurrencies in which people only need 2 or 3 cryptos to pay for everything they want.

Aside trading, cryptocurrency offer investment opportunities where investors buy valuable coins at certain low price and sell at certain high price after the coin rises.
Also, cryptocurrency are used to purchase online goods and services. Shops like egifter, overstock.com, newegg etc accept cryptocurrencies for purchases.

although it is not yet maximal, crypto is a payment tool, but at present there are at least countries that accept payment using crypto, for example shops at the Australian airport

as far as I know, besides trading, there is also a gift investment by participating in the ICO project and of course to get a prize from what we do in the form of tokens that we can sell in the form of crypto currencies.

Our government legalized the use of the cryptocurrencies, there are now businesses who accepts bitcoin as a payment. The cryptocurrencies is not just for trading, it can now be as a medium of exchange.

Maybe that idea can be great but it will be done within a process. It is hard to regulate this kind of system easily, it comes with a huge support from both parties, users and the business owners. Today I only knew few coin which is commonly used to for real estate. Some of them are successful but some of them are not.

I know the gambler, who makes money (in Bitcoins) playing in casinos that accept the cryptocurrency. He is simply a very lucky person, thus, he takes this risk. I guess you can buy and sell things for BTC.

Trading and gambling are just some of activities where you risk your money to make more and have fun in the same time, there's a big difference between amateurs and professionals. To not run away from topic, on a side having fun crypto should be used by people for buying things, so you need shops where people can use crypto, factories that will produce something for crypto. Crypto adoption is all about that, and we have where to spend crypto for goods, people who live in advanced countries can do much more with crypto than others, but that's spreading fast and I believe that future will be full adoption of crypto, one day sooner or later.

There are so many places where crypto could be used. We can't continue to just limit ourselves to just trading. We should look out for stores that accept cryptocurrencies online.
