Bitcoin prices are still the same these days and it does not seem like it is moving up. At least not as high as everyone anticipates. If the price remains the same until next year and it stabilize at around $6000, do you think that it will be good for the crypto world or not? Say it does not go down below it, but it also still does not go higher than that, what do you think will be the repercussions to the market?

Well, if the market decides that bitcoin is worth $6000(for a few years at least, I doubt it though), then I'm fine with it. A bit of stability is good in my book as it makes mechants probably want it more, as I assume one of the reasons some merchants don't accept BTC is because of the huge price volatility.

I think if the price stays at $6,000 for a period of time, it definitely is not bad.
It was too crazy last year when the prices increased by almost 20x from bottom to top.
I am willing to buy more at $6,000 or below, and the Bitcoin with a stable fiat price would make itself become more like  a "stronger" currency and harder to manipulate.

do you think that it will be good for the crypto world or not?

Well, it's hard to say if it will be good because people are accustomed to large price increases, so seeing $ 6000 for a long time can create the feeling that the price will never come out of the $ 6000 so they should sell and give up on cryptos.

what do you think will be the repercussions to the market?

if we talk about repercussion, I think it will not be a big deal, only a few people will abandon the boat

i don't know about "crypto world" but it is a very good thing for bitcoin at least because of a couple of reasons.
the stability will make the newbies who wanted to become rich with bitcoin overnight to leave the market. in other words the weak hands who FOMO buy and PANIC sell are flushed out of the market and market is cleansed. so the volatility will be reduced even further.
all this stability will make bitcoin be a currency more as people have always been complaining about it and saying it is the reason why they don't use bitcoin as a currency, now they wouldn't have any more excuses.

Bitcoin is stable in price at 5K $ -6K $ may arrive at the end of the year. No one can predict how the price of bitcoin will be in the future. But I'm sure the beginning of the year will increase in price as every year we see, the price grows.

That's price stability and IMO, that is actually great since merchants would somewhat reconsider in accepting bitcoin as a payment option. Number one enemy of merchants when it comes to accepting bitcoin is the price volatility. They are afraid that they would lose profits if they hold on to bitcoin for long, and securing a third-party payment processor would also cost them some $$$ on the side. Needless to say, the stagnant price would urge merchants to accept it and see whether it will be better for their business or not.

I doubt it will at 6000$ range for that long, but “IF” then I will be accepting this scenario wholeheartedly. I’m a long term hodler and not fun of short term trading. So I’ll take it much easier than the opposite one.

There is someone will or group of bitcoin enthusiast won’t allow it, the whales and the traders wanted to profit from dump and pump, so they would do anything to favor they’re way of earning.

Bitcoin prices are still the same these days and it does not seem like it is moving up.
We should not be expecting much from this industry and from bitcoin because, some group of persons are putting more reaserch to stabilize the price of bitcoin and also stabilize the price of altcoins.
This will have a great side effect on most investors who bought their coins at higher rate than what we see in the market, i will love to suggest Sell! Sell!!! Sell!!!!...

There are benefits in that aspect - having stable market price. With more and more merchants that might consider accepting crypto as payment, it means, more adoption of the usage of cryptocurrencies. Price volatility is one major hindrance in exhausting bitcoin's full potential in the ecommerce industry.
Thus, it will slowly create high demand of bitcoin in the market, and eventually increase its value.
But you'll never know what the future holds for bitcoin. The price can change easily.

Good or not it depend on market situations but most of people get profit from price movement because usually people trade bitcoin if they want money and if the price remain stable then probably they will hold their bitcoin until see further movement to decide sell or buy and besides that i think people will trade altcoin to get more profit because sometimes altcoin can provide decent profit instead of bitcoin

A stable price is much better than a dropping price.  Wink

Obviously everyone wants the price to behave like it did in 2017, but that is not necessarily what we need for this technology to succeed. A price spike like that, draws in the wrong crowd <Speculators> and they cause the most damage. <They spread FUD to hype the price and they quickly dump large amounts of coins, when they panic>.  Angry

We need a steady but slow growth, like we had in 2016.  Grin

A steady price would be a best case scenario for Bitcoin; however, it would also indicate that adoption has stagnated, which is bad at this point.

It would be neither good or bad.The lack of a stable price growth will make the majority of btc users and traders think that this is the edge of bitcoin and it can't grow anymore, which will spread pesimism across the crypto world. On the other hand,I don't believe that a stable price will force the merchants to adopt btc.
Anyway,I prefer price stability over price crash. Grin

If the price of bitcoin becomes stable just as you said it may be good in one aspect and be bad in another aspect, but due to the fact that the bitcoin Price is highly volatile there can never be a stable price for it and at that the price will for ever continue to fluctuate at every given point. And let not anticipate much in the future cause it all depends on the demands for bitcoin that determine it growth.

If the market continue like this, then it is evident that stability has been achieved. It will draw more investors in because the value will be more predictable and loses will be minimized. That would give rise to mass adoption quickly. It is definitely good for bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

We're still good if bitcoin stabilizes around that price. The problem is, people are 'hoping' that a dramatic rise is really good for us, however, we could hear another argument saying that bitcoin is a bubble waiting to be burst.

So there's nothing wrong if the price goes around $6K-$7K, still healthy and at least its not overbought just like last year.

Bitcoin stability is enough to have a positive impact on all aspects. This way at a safe level and certainly will be a good thing even though many may be unhappy. Indeed, prices cannot be predicted correctly, so for me, stable value is a good value for this year. Chances are the next year there will be a breakthrough that can make the value of bitcoin soar.

It could affect the investors mindset to not to trust again with the speculations. However, if the speculations will going to happen then definitely cryptocurrency will be one of the best form of investment wherein every year it will be look like a celebration for once who did join in the investment.

Bitcoin prices are still the same these days and it does not seem like it is moving up. At least not as high as everyone anticipates. If the price remains the same until next year and it stabilize at around $6000, do you think that it will be good for the crypto world or not? Say it does not go down below it, but it also still does not go higher than that, what do you think will be the repercussions to the market?
next year the price of bitcoin will fluctuate around 9000$ and the market will also expand .
