I think that Ethereum does not depend only on its creator. There is a great team behind this project and this is one of the most trusted altcoins. I will cause some disappointment on the market but will not affect the token price in long term.

The Creator of the second largest cryptocurrency on the market, Vitalik Buterin, claims that he will soon leave its community. On his Twitter, he said that the process of his” disconnection " from Ethereum has already begun. He believes that the project is not something that will survive, a will cope without him.

The exact date of his departure is still unknown.

I dont think that Vitalik Buterin will leave completely Ethereum, he only wants to show, that Ethereum is decentralized project that can run without him.
And also Vitalik is not the only one big name in Ethereum .

Wow. That just strikes me like a lightning. That's very bad for Ethereum in my opinion since he is their icon and the guy who actually thought of most of the things for this protocol. Very sad indeed. I don't know what exactly is the reason, but it might be that Ethereum development has stopped and he is just fed up with it.

I think this wise decision. The man who truly believes in decentralization principles cannot risk undermining these principles by its own authority.

I heard about this information but not so long ago Vitalik Buterin said that he would not leave his project. He refused to work with Google as far as I know.

buterin will never leave ethereum, he is the figurehead of this company and he knows that if he does go then it will simply fall. Perhaps he will sideline himself from day to day work and just be on the 'board' heading some type of community forum

Personally, I think that in fact this is absolutely not the case. Because he has repeatedly stated - in the near future he does not plan to leave the project at all. Therefore, I continue to believe - Ethereum will continue to develop steadily. Regularly invest part of the money in his purchase.

He can leave anytime but I don't think Vitalik will leave, he's very optimistic with PoS or maybe after that he'll leave. Who knows? I don't know and only him can give us enlightenment with this issue which was quite old already.

It is really interesting to see any comment coming from ethereum founder. If he truly leave this project, I believe there is a big reason behind not just in dropping value but more inside. Ethereum exist for many years and totally impossible that Vitalik would leave easily, I don't think so.

He has been offered by google a nice job but you know what's his decision? he never left the project and instead he continued to push all of the good things that he think to upgrade and improve ethereum. I think this is natural, when a person succeeds in a project then leave is a better thing, I'm sure even though he isn't on the team then ethereum will survive and certainly can continue to improve.

This is non sense, how would he leave Ethereum when he is making money from it.
Vitalik may look like retarded but this guy is genius and he is on a mission to make history as one of the leading crypto founder who have made his tech successful.

We really cannot prevent this kind of news, or fake news to be exact in times like this as people are so frustrated watching ETH sinking, but as if it's the first time.

What could be the reason why he is planning to leave a project that he started. I don't think this news is real and authentic and I think this is only to spread more fuds about Ethereum. Vitalik can't just leave like that but if he does, Ethereum will struggle a while and come back stronger.
